COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our original award-winning Saranac beer is brewed in the German Lager tradition using Noble hops. We balance the hop bitterness with caramel malt sweetness, creating what we like to call a “round” beer.

another rather thin and lightly flavored beer from Saranac, but the body is crisp and the beer well balanced between carmel malt and spicy hops. it still comes off a little bland, but not bad."

Lidt karamel. Er let bittersød i enden. Let at drikke.

shrubber85 (11460) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - JUN 15, 2007
Bottle. Sugary apple/cherry malt aroma. Amber with nice head and lacing. Sugary caramel malt flavor. Not horrible for a Vienna - par for the course for Matt.

hopscotch (11161) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - SEP 7, 2003
Clear, orange ale. Small, fizzy, white head. Good lacing. The nose is soapy and beefy. Well-balanced, crisp, tangy flavor. A bit grassy. Light-bodied with an oily mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Short, crisp, clean finish. Not a bad example of the style, but not a good one either. Not one of my favorite styles to begin with, but a good Summer thirst quencher!

daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - SEP 19, 2009
Bottle. Yellow port. Light head. Malty and grainy aroma. Nothing amazing here. Grains, boring hops, bitter. Meh.

DocLock (10745) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 31, 2004
A standard amber, with typical amber taste overtones. Not great, not bad, middle of the road. Subtle caramel, toffee, and malt flavors. Good complexity.
