COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our original award-winning Saranac beer is brewed in the German Lager tradition using Noble hops. We balance the hop bitterness with caramel malt sweetness, creating what we like to call a “round” beer.

Nice amber pour, with a frothy head, slightly tan. Lightly sweet. An average Amber.

Caramel color with a decent, not great, off-white head. Sweet malt flavor, moderately hopped. Id have to say, all in all, a pretty decent beer.

A pretty average beer. Not bad, but there isn’t really a whole lot that sets it apart.

Amber poor with decent head.. lots of carbonation. Metallic taste as all this brewers beers have. Could taste some hops though drank it all...

swenocha (81) - Franklin, Tennessee, USA - MAY 8, 2010
Clear, orange copper pour. decent white head and gentle lacing. med-high carbonation. Some earthy hop and malt aromas, which match the flavor. Malty, with some piney hop flavor on the back. A bit of bitterness. Well balanced. Hop flavor not as pronounced but similar to Sammy Noble Pils. Generally a good, but not great, beer.

This beer is okay for a lager. More interesting than a lot of the competition. There is a little bit of nice malt flavor and the color is nice. Other than that, I wouldn’t savor this one for too long. Down it and get another!

"Perfect balance of caramel malt sweetness and hop bitterness. Look for a rich amber color and medium body." Purchased at Lowe’s Foods, Greenville, NC Great flavor; smooth.

Not too bad. Could be a bit more hoppy or sweeter or something. Pretty good balance though overall, with a nice aroma.

This beer had a very nice amber color and white head. Very nice aroma and great taste. Exceptional beer with a smooth sweet to bitter transition.

Not my type, but still a good quality beer.
