Pours golden with a lasting head. Aromas of malt and a bit of citrus Also a bit of spice. Sweet taste with a medium body that finishes crisply. Not the best for the style but good for the price
Clear orange-gold color with a medium thin white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of hops, citrus and yeast. Medium-bodied with flavors of citrus, herbal yeast and hops. The finish is fruity up front with a clove and yeast aftertaste. Just average overall. Aroma of honey and light belgian yeast spice. Flavor very light belgian flavor with very little pale ale going on. No hop bite. Head fades very quick. Thin on the tongue. Palate: thin feel, flat, with an abrupt finish. Overall okay if this is a session ale but otherwise pass. dlovell2 (2091) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - MAY 7, 2014
Clear golden color with white head. Fruit and clove aroma. Smooth malty start with some fruit flavors followed by clove and finishing with some hoppiness.

Sampled on 3/21/2014. This Belgian Ale pours a medium orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, floral and spicy with a touch of yeast. A medium to light bodied Belgian Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet, some tropical, some peach. The hops are herbal and a touch citrusy. Decent carbonation. A little yeasty, a touch thin and it finishes a touch sweet. Very drinkable. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. hershiser2 (3055) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - FEB 10, 2014
Bottle. Pours clear, applejuice-like with a small spit head. Can’t quite place the aroma, but it’s not pleasant. Tastes of cheap lager with undertones of metal.

Bottle, BB Mar 31, 2014. Nose is mineral, fruity Belgian yeast with spaghetti and worty cereal grain, pours clear golden with a soapy off-white head. Taste is very grainy with a little bit of plastic astringency and sweetness, hollow on the inside, touches of fruit and hoppiness but each subservient. Light-medium body is calm, some citrus zinging but not many signs of life. Would work as a Tafelbier, I guess, but I’d always be yearning for more. sonnycheeba (5970) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - JAN 17, 2014
Bottle from sampler pack. Pours clear amber with rising fizzy off-white head. Aroma is cookie and cereal malts, floral notes, Belgian yeast, light funk, and some mango. Flavor is dry malts, light toast, grassy notes, faint citrus esters, and yeasty notes; dry finish. Light body and medium carbonation. shrubber85 (11324) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - JAN 14, 2014
Bottle. Musty yeast, lemon and light barley malt aroma. Medium yellow with small head. Yeasty barley malt and musty lemon peel flavor. A nice beer. MarkSachon (1009) - Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 12, 2014
12 oz bottle from the holiday sampler case. Pours with a minimum head and a yellow to tan color. Medium body with a nice finish. For the relative cost of the case, this is well worth the investment. Scrapersnbeer (1532) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - JAN 12, 2014
Spicy banana bread and soft malt aroma. Clear orange like many pale ales. Tangy citrus taste, more bitter than expected, guess that the ’pale’ part of the equation. Soft squishy body. Okay effort here but too watered down. Guessing 4.8%
