This American Pilsener is a style less seasonally tied to fall and is a hop forward pilsener perfect for the beach, a BBQ, a tailgate, and so much more. This crisp pils highlights the Citra hop which gives the beer a refreshing juicy character. It’s fruity with tropical notes of orange, pineapple, and guava because of its dry hopping process.

Bottle from Tops- Derby.Normal looking pour, clear golden with a small foamy head Grainy.y aroma, kind of musty, stale. Taste is also very muted, overall seems watery. Brief glimmer of Citra hops in the taste for a second, before fading away. Not much here.

FROTHINGSLOSH (8201) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 1, 2017
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright golden color with a large foamy yellow-white head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was sweetish and tangy with cactus, pine and tropical fruit. The flavor was tangy, bitter and dryish with perfume, citrus and cactus. Medium length finish. Medium body. Meh.

Easy drinking and quite quaffable. This bottled brew from a grocery store was served at a cool temperature and poured a head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a typically carbonated body transparent yellow orange colored body and a very good lacing. The mild aroma was malty. The crisp mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish malt hop aftertaste. The tasty flavor contained notes of mildly grassy semi-sweet mild citrus wheat hops and malt. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.

Clear golden body, medium sized white head, and spotty lacing. Some candied orange, light florals, crackery malt. Medium to light bodied, smooth carbonation, mild sweetness, a muted finish with modest bitterness.

12 oz can. Quiet pour with moderate carbonation and an aggressive citrus aroma (lemon-orange).The beer is gold in colour with a durable craggy white head and abundant lace. The taste starts off crisp and dry with hoppy citrus notes that expand into the middle. The finish is long with a thin mouthfeel and a slight bitterness at the very end. An oddball pilsener, but very good.

Light brown appearance, fizzy appearance. Tropical fruit aromas.. hoppy tropical fruit taste. Palate is somewhat strange.. bitter and a little sour. It’s OK.

Pint at Ruckus Pizza Morrisville. Ok aroma. Sweet classic grassy doughy pils streak with a orange streak. Clean golden orange color, good head that fade quickly to almost nothing. Little lace. Lightly Sweet mildly bitter flavor. Light body, thin watery mouthfeel, bitter finish. It’s ok. Be good as a lawnmower beer but tad weak in the scheme of things.

Julian coded bottle suggests brewed 7/8/16. Pilsner glass.
A: Poured clear rich gold with visible bubbles feeding a 1/2" frothy head that held up very well and left elaborate lace patterns..
S: Big lemon and crusty white toast scent.
T: Tart and bitter lemon zest and pith. Mild sourdough to finish. Different but good.
M: Light crisp body and and prickly carb tingle. Slight resin lingers.
O: After Wild Hop (Belma) Pils was discontinued, Saranac’s Summer pils was a big let down. This one again raises the bar for Saranac pilsners. Recommended.
