COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A hop lovers delight! In the India pale ale tradition, this brew is very hoppy in both aroma and flavor from the generous amounts of Cascade hops used in brewing. Look for a medium to full body and golden straw color.

12 ounce bottle. One of six beers in the Saranac Sampler Adirondack Trail Mix six-pack. Drunk in Arlington, Virginia. Saranac IPA pours clear orange and brilliant with a very light ivory head. The primary aromas are strong of both apple and orange. The primary flavors are bitter orange and light caramel. The body is medium. This is a good solid IPA.

Clowded orange, white small lacing foam head. Hoppy aroma and bitter taste, but not overwhelming both. Some citrus notes. (Velp 201601)

Poured from bottle, pours a dark gold with a thin head, the aroma is of very light hops, more grass than anything, the flavor is very light as well, not much there but a little bitterness in the finish, super boring.

Finale persistente e secco.

Old rating. Maybe I got a bad bottle, but it was horrible. Flat. Too much caramel and just barely there hops. Somewhat cardboardy.

12 oz. bottle from a buddy last night - thanks, Steve! Pours a clear orange with a fairly big white head. Malt-leaning IPA- caramel and sweet and pale malts atop minor citrus and pine Cascade hop bitterness. A little resin, a bit of grass and straw, but mostly malts lead the way here. Light-bodied, with medium-high carbonation and a sweet mouthfeel that finishes dry. Not much to it. So-so.

The beasters of IPA. If Im going camping or theres a summer event and this is one of few options nearby Ill pick it up. Very drinkable and twelve packs are priced nice. A good session IPA before session IPA became marketing by higher end breweries. Really at 5.8 this is at least balanced and thats as low as an IPA should go.

pretty one dimensional ipa. i liked the cascade hop aroma, but the flavor was average at best...a little too tame for the style with not a whole lot going on."
