This golden sparkling blond ale was brewed to pay homage to a 1000-year tradition rooted in Cologne, Germany. Clear, crisp and easy to drink, the Kolsch of today is lighter than the "House" beer that was served in Cologne 200 years ago - the city that made Kolsch famous. We hope you’ll enjoy it!

Annehmbar. Test vom 1.10.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,8,9,9,10,9 - 8,80

Bottle from the Folsom BevMo. Pours light gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is bready with light noble hop. Med minus body. Flavor is bready, with some herbal and noble hop aspects. It’s bitter in the finish. Beats Bud Light anyday.

Ratman197 (15624) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - DEC 18, 2011
Bottle courtesy of adneilsen (thanks AAron) pouyred a clear gold with a small lingering white head. Aromas of crackers, spicy hops and light graininess. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of crackers, spicy hops and light citrus with a crisp dry finish.

Tmoney99 (15130) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 4, 2016
Bottle. Poured clear golden color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate balanced malt and floral hop aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Soft drinkable beer

Drake (14332) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 30, 2008
12 oz. bottle. Golden amber pour with a small head. Aroma of straight malt with a honeylike sweetness. Grainy taste with grassy notes and a green-apple like fruitiess. A little watery and thin.

Dogbrick (14326) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUN 12, 2006
Pours a slightly cloudy yellow color with tiny rising bubbles and a thin white head that dissipates fast. Minimal lacing. Weak aroma of hops and spices. Light-bodied and crisp with light zesty hops and citrus that does not stick around very long. Almost like a "light" Kölsch if that is not too redundant. The finish is crisp and bubbly with a bit of sweet fruit and spice. Not a whole lot to this one, I see no reason why they couldn’t give it some more pizzazz.

Lubiere (14262) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 9, 2005
Golden beer with a creamy white head. Faint grassy malt in aroma. In mouth, crisp malt, and light hops, more like a non-descript lager. Lighter bodied. Not impressed by this.

Meh. Summer pack. Pretty weak all around. Not offensively bad, but exactly the type of beer that makes me skip this brewer as many times as not. Generic slightly sweet, grainy yellow beer. Like a really well made macro, or a thoroughly boring craft.

Sammy (13000) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 14, 2005
Fizzy and thin, OK coppery colour, not much in taste but certainly drinkable and better than club soda, though reminds me of it because of strong carbonation and salty aftertaste. Lemon and metallic in mid-sip

jcwattsrugger (12559) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JUN 23, 2006
12oz bottle-pours a big foamy white head with gold color. Aroma is funky grain, musty, hint of citrus. Taste is musty, funky grain, mild. Thin finish. OK carbonation.
