3/10/15 Draft (The Laughing Man- DC) - Aroma flowery and sweet. Nice blond pour with mid carbonation and white head. Very sweet and light, nice fruity taste. Texture is light, nice feel. Usually do not go for sweet beers but this was very good. zach8270 (4021) - Henrietta, New York, USA - MAR 6, 2015
(bottle - 12 oz - Saranac sampling) Hazy gold pour with a puffy white head. Mild wheat and citrus aroma. Flavor is dry wheat with a good amount of spice and a light fruity aftertaste. egg (396) - USA - FEB 18, 2015
Bottle on 2/18/15. Pours straw, cloudy, juicy, bright. Small white head that fades with little to no lacing. Nose is primarily apricot, pepper. Taste is apricot, pineapple, sweet with some yeastiness, a little bitterness to end. I’m digging the fruitiness. Liked it a lot more than I expected. Yummy and bright. Great summer beer. wlajwl (6886) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - JAN 27, 2015
Aroma is wheat, citrus and a hint of hops. The flavor is citrus, wheat, coriander, a hint of hops and a tropical fruit/slightly bitter/sweet finish. Doesn’t completely seem like a wit, a little bit of IPA to it. berkshirejohn (6534) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - JAN 27, 2015
12oz bottle from Wegmans, West Seneca, NY. A hazy orange pour with a ring of white head; pleasant sweet grapefruit aroma; grapefruit taste with a grainy body, much as expected; but then a dry floury finish with some weak fruit squash that’s rather spoils the whole thing. No trace of any spice, so this isn’t really a Witbier in my opinion.

Cloudy yellow-gold pour with a 2 finger, creamy to soapy white head. Aroma is pretty much all citrusy, perfumey floral notes, almost candy like. Flavor is orange slice candy, floral notes, mineral water, floury wheat, lemon and some odd, but bright, and fairly appealing fruity notes. Fruity, candy-like notes persist to the finish along with mineral notes and a moderate medicinal note. Light to medium body, slightly syrupy entry, light, but blanketing and quite sharp carbonation, dry, chalky finish. Not great overall, definitely one of those beers that are more enjoyable before you actually sit down and critique them. cbfobes (2883) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - JAN 23, 2015
Bottle from mix pack, pours a hazy dark yellow with a thick white head and lacing, aroma is pretty weak, slight amount of banana and clove, flavor is fruity on the front end with a dry finish, still pretty meh. ThisWangsChung (836) - Leonardtown, Maryland, USA - DEC 30, 2014
12 oz bottle into a pint glass.
A: Pours a hazy golden color. The head is about a finger high, with a white shade. It looks very thick-bubbled in the glass, and doesn’t have the best retention, either. Some rings of lacing are left behind.
S: Pleasantly citrusy. There isn’t just orange peel typical of the style, but actual grapefruit. Spices are subdued at best, and there seems to be a healthy amount of candied sugar. While this is a rock-solid aroma, it’s also too mild. It might even be too sweet.
T: This is more bitter than the aroma suggested - in fact, it’s closer to their regular white IPA than I expected. Some slight candied sugar opens this up, before being overtaken by a finish loaded with bitter grapefruit. It stops just short of being generically bitter, thankfully. There’s just enough wheat and grapefruit to keep everything in check. Not too interesting, because unfortunately it’s pretty bland.
M: Very, very dry and light. Some might call it watery...actually, I will call it somewhat watery. Not even the medium carbonation slowing down will make it any less drier. Because of this, it’s superbly chuggable.
O: Nothing bad about this one at all - it’s easy to drink and not overloaded with ridiculous sweetness. Problem is, it’s pretty dull. On the plus side, it’s better to be dull but easy to drink than it is to be sweet and a chore to consume. One down, five to go. hfmejias (1283) - Marshall, Minnesota, USA - DEC 1, 2014
12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured cloudy, golden, several floaters... Nice white head and one ce lacing. Aroma of yeast, wheat, and citrus fruit. Taste like grain bittersweet, some malts, some wheat, some citrus fruit. Actually easy to drink, and enjoyable. Darkmagus82 (2302) - - OCT 10, 2014

Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a hazy and light golden-orange color with a tiny fizzy white head. The head fades almost instantly to leave a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is big of a sweet smell with lots of apricot, pear, and orange as well as candied sugar smells and a hint of bubblegum. Along with these aromas are some yeast and a bit of spice with coriander and clove both there. A light breadiness rounds out the aroma giving a quite nice aroma overall.
Taste – The taste begins a cracker taste with hints of apricot and tangerine mixed within. A yeasty flavor joins the taste soon after, bringing a light coriander and clove flavor along with it. As the flavor advances tons of grass and hay come to the tongue with the sweet losing some ground. These mix of flavors take the taste to its end where they leave a slightly bitter grassy and drier flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the average side for a brew of 5.2 % abv. with a carbonation level that is on the average side as well. For the lighter fruit flavors mixed with the grassy and hay flavors, the body and carbonation create a still rather easy drinking brew.
Overall – A decent BPA, but it has a bit too much grassy and hay flavors for my taste. Just alright.
