Our Red IPA is a twist on a traditional West Coast IPA featuring a deep red color from European dark caramel malts. We brew with generous amounts of American hops including Calypso, Palisade and Chinook to give this IPA a distinctive hop aroma. You’ll notice a strong hoppy flavor with caramel malt undertones and a unique color that gives this IPA a whole new personality.

A bit unharmonic. AMber coloured and faint hazy. Has a white head, mostly diminishing. Hoppy aroma, faint citrus. Flavor is light sweet, heavy bitter finish. Dry texture.

Bottle. Poured clear dark amber color with medium frothy off-white head that was that lasted with good lacing. Solid complex sweet malt and resin hop aroma. Medium body with smooth texture with soft carbonation. Medium malt and small hop bittersweet flavor with a soft bittersweet finish. Good brew.

This tastes like an attempt to blend an IPA with a Guinness. And it works! Smooth caramel taste going down. With a nice hoppy aftertaste and a nice deep red color. Surprisingly good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle, Winter Mix 2012. Red pour. White ring. Smells of brew day. The nose is of fresh wort. Tastes of pine hops, toasted malts. A nice hopped ale. (3797)

Pours deep amber, not much head, a lot of floating particles. Aroma is overly sweet malt, caramel, bread, toffee, very slight earthy/piney hops. Taste a bit bitter, sweet caramel, bready malt, earthy, slightly floral hop presence, sweet and bitter linger. Mouthfeel is on the thin side, good carbonation. Overall not terrible, nothing exceptional, nothing too offending, I would not seek this out, but would grab over a light lager.

Nice amber/ruby color; Medium creamy body; Aroma of caramel malt, floral hops, & some citrus; Flavor of caramel malt, hops, and fruit/citrus; Finish is only slightly bitter; Overall, a little boring - but not too bad.

Bottle. Light off white head on a dark red beer. Aroma off slightly, catty, hope spice, soft malt. Flavor is mostly bitter, dusty earth, too light sweet white middle, long bitter end. Water but dusty feel. Underwhelming.

Pours a nice ruby red with a moderate amount of foamy whitehead grapefruit almost sour aroma. Hi level of carbonation light bodied. Not really enough malt balance for a red IPA in my opinion. Unremarkable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(bottle - 12 oz) Pours a slightly reddish hue with a puffy white head. Aroma is standard piney aroma with hints of citrus. Flavor is pretty much the same. Pine resin and bitter hops. A nice IPA but nothing out of the ordinary.

edgallow (4629) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - MAY 27, 2013
12 oz bottle pours red with a off white head. Aroma of pine, citrus and malt. Taste is malts, grass and a bit of pine. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
