3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle served in a Sam Adams perfect pint glass. Clear gold with a thin capping of head that is gone in an instant. It smells an awful lot like Fruity Pebbles, kind of a vague citrus fruit and cherry blend. Taste is coriander, fruitiness, and a hint of vanilla ice cream. Thin bodied with higher than average carbonation. Disappears at the finish leaving only some coriander on the palate. I probably would have enjoyed it more if I actually drank it in the summer on a hot day but overall not a bad beer.
drank out of bottle on golf course last year..wheaty,dry,grassy..some lemon notes..not much else. slowrunner77 (12051) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 4, 2014
"you can smell and taste the wheat, as well as the lemon. if it ended there, it’d be a solid better-than-average summer session beer, but the subtle spice note at the end takes away from the whole a little. still decent, nothing special." Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - SEP 3, 2014
Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy golden yellow color with a slight transparency about it allowing some light carbonation to be seen rising throughout. One finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving some light lacing here and there.
The smell had a tart to sweet lemon / citrus - ness going on.
The taste was basically the same thing.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was somewhat sharp and didn’t offer the kick I was expecting from the wheat or lack thereof.
Overall, well anyways, it’s just an okay kind of beer. Nothing bad just another Saranac. generallee08 (772) - New York, USA - JUN 10, 2014
It has a clear filtered body that is golden color. Its head is white, bubbly and fades fast. The aroma is light and has a lemony essence. Its flavor is simple, sweet and lemony with light wheat malt. The body is medium with a slightly slick feel and an average carbonation. Overall it is a very refreshing ale with a clean flavor.

From a 12 ounce bottle into a shaker glass.
A: Sweet wheat malt notes and a bit of hay.
A: Pours a clear, golden color with one finger of nearly white head and little retention or lace.
T: Weak flavor overall. No off-flavors, but barely any flavor at all. Faint wheat malt, nothing else.
P: Light body and carbonation.

Your slightly less than average american wheat ale. Very light, watery, some grassiness and dirt. Cybercat (5841) - Georgia, USA - SEP 29, 2013
Aroma is wheaty with lemon and yeast hints. Pours a hazy amber with a thin white head. Wheaty flavor has the typical yeast and citrus notes of a decent wheat beer. Refreshing, it not spectacular. Texture is fizzy and has about average thickness. Nice for a hot summer day - or to bring a little summer sunshine into a chilly day. Drjohnrock (805) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 12, 2013
