I liked it better as it warmed. Abrupt at first, too bitter, but calmed down with time

Aged bomber via PUB’R. Poured dark straw with minimal head. Nose was piney hops, citrus, caramel malt. Medium palate heft, with flavors of caramel malt, piney hops, and mild citrus.

Bottle thanks to trade with phatdog1! Pours a clear golden orange with fluffy white white head that dissipates to leave good lacing. Aroma of caramel malts, overwhelming alcohol noise in the middle, and a sweet citrus hop note on the back end. Taste is better, a decent IPA, but still somewhat off. It’s got an overlying rubbing alcohol not that is hard to get past.

Bomber. Pours a clear copper color with a larg white head. A light sweet caramel and rusty nose. A light sweet flavor, some caramel, light perfume. Little hops. Hurt by the style listing. Not an ipa or iipa. Drinkable.

Deep gold, clear, off-white head. Aroma of grainy sweet malt, some odd perfumy notes, restrained hop aroma, mostly grainy-sweet. Flavor is more grainy malt, some herbal notes, but hop character is very low.

Butters (4059) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - MAY 19, 2013
Bomber from Sam’s Quik Stop. Clear golden pour with decent white head and some lacing. Sweet and citrusy nose goes right along with the citrusy hop flavor. The mouthfeel is a bit on the thin side though. There seems to be a hint of caramel backbone for balance, but overall, this is a hoppy little sucker that leaves a nice honey sweetness on the tail.

The aroma is a little weird, grassy, sweatsock, musty. The appearance is very pale orange for the style, white head. The flavor is grass, sweet caramel. Grassy, piney finish. Not great.
