Light amber. Caramel nose with a hint of breadcrust. Pleasant fruity hop overtop of toasty amber malts and caramel. Tmoney99 (14857) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 26, 2005
Draft at brewpub. Pours a dark amber color with a medium head that diminished quickly. Heavy hoppy aroma. Medium body smooth texture. Good complex hoppy flavor with a moderate finish. Best of brews tasted. Lubiere (14133) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 23, 2011
A golden lager with a thin white head. In aroma, solventy crips malts, grainy notes. In mouth, a watery and mundane lager, with crisp malts, no defaults nor any qualities. On tap at brewpub, Jan. 3 2011. Dogbrick (13547) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 27, 2014
Sample at the brewpub. Clear amber color with a thin and frothy white head that recedes gradually to a film. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Malt and slight hops in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, overripe fruit and a touch of earthy hops. The finish is sweet with a short malty aftertaste. Barely average overall. hopdog (12953) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 13, 2005
UPDATED: FEB 21, 2005 On tap at the brew pub. Poured a medium amber color with a small off white head. Aromas and tastes of caramel and citrus. Lightly sweet with a nice hoppy balance. One of the better beers I had there tonight.

Sample on tap at the brewpub. Clear orange color. Light, crisp carbonation. Nice light hops and zest aroma. Not bad. Tasty and drinkable. Friends liked it, it was a standout amongst them. Ibrew2or3 (8808) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - MAR 20, 2008
Pours clear deep gold with off white head. Odd looking beer for an amber. The aroma is roasty malts, 90L crystal malts and some really faint caramel. The taste is nice and amber-like with rich roasty malts, a little bit of malt astringency mixing with more lightly roasted malts. All this maltiness slowly turns into Munich grainy type malts along with mild pine hoppiness and faint floral hops as the finish approaches. The hop bitterness does grow some into the finish and lingers around with sweet and roasted maltiness. PorterPounder (8226) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - MAR 25, 2006
On tap at the brewpub in Sarasota. Medium amber pour, slight sprucey aroma. Flavor has some grapefruity hoppy notes with a balanced malty caramel finish. Thickish mouthfeel. More ale characteristics than a lager. Pretty good.
