Aroma is fairly hoppy with a bit of malt beneath. Tea colored with a lazy white head. Hops dominate the fore then a rich caramel malt smoothness finishes the deal. Fairly basic, but fun ot drink. crizay (1050) - Brook Park, Ohio, USA - JAN 22, 2006
Murky amber color with thin head, very hoppy bite to it along with some malt and caramel sweetness but not much, overall it was good. Ibrew2or3 (8808) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - MAR 20, 2008
Pours clear deep gold with off white head. Odd looking beer for an amber. The aroma is roasty malts, 90L crystal malts and some really faint caramel. The taste is nice and amber-like with rich roasty malts, a little bit of malt astringency mixing with more lightly roasted malts. All this maltiness slowly turns into Munich grainy type malts along with mild pine hoppiness and faint floral hops as the finish approaches. The hop bitterness does grow some into the finish and lingers around with sweet and roasted maltiness. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 25, 2012
Sample on tap at the brewpub. Clear orange color. Light, crisp carbonation. Nice light hops and zest aroma. Not bad. Tasty and drinkable. Friends liked it, it was a standout amongst them. markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - AUG 7, 2012
On draft at Sarasota. Pours a red-amber with a white head. Nose is caramel malt with some pine and grapefruit. Flavor is similar- malt with pine and grapefruit with a bit of lager thrown in. Interesting and a decent bite to it.

This is the best one from Sarasota Brewing that I have had. The aroma is hoppy with plenty of malt. The appearance is nice much like the flavor. The flavor is very hoppy like the aroma. The palate is good for the style. I like this one. Palidor19 (3193) - Brandon, Florida, USA - AUG 8, 2006
I live near the Sarasota community, so it was nice to have sometihng from a local brewey. A tasty malts with nice malts that has a strong presence of hops. MeadMe (1680) - Fishhawk, Florida, USA - JUN 13, 2010
A: Pours a nice vibrant amber hue with a nice head. Okay retention with some spotty lace.
S: Aromas of sweet caramel malt, corn, and bread.
T: Lightly roasted with the candy malts standing out. The corn is there again in the flavor with mild floral hops noted as well.
M: Medium in body, pretty smooth.
D: Not really that tasty to be honest.

Poured a pale bronze color with aromas of light pine, malt and some light hops. Flavors are malt and caramel with some light pine and a touch of hops. Drjohnrock (831) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 7, 2015
Draft sampler at the brewpub. Light amber hue, light sweet malty aroma, light to moderated bittersweet flavor. Something a bit off in the taste--some soapy character.
