Can at James’ house for the End of History tasting. Pours a clear amber with a thin white head. Soft bready malt on the nose, a bit of grain. Medium bodied, nice nutty malt, soft malty sweetness into some grain. Dry bitterness on the finish. Easy going. Jesterdeal (1985) - Marlton, New Jersey, USA - SEP 16, 2014
Sampled from a can at the End of History tasting. Aroma is caramel malt and bread crust. Pours deep amber with a small lager head. Taste is pleasant with bread crusts, caramel malt, and light cinnamon. Very malt forward version of a Vienna lager. Very enjoyable. Wish this was my local Yuengling. This one was a bit special. Starting off with a decent malt aroma and nice balanced carbo it developed a high drinkability with a nice plum or berries aroma in the end which really hit me. A beer I will never forget, Warming and caring - wonderful. McTapps (6856) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - FEB 26, 2014
