Distributed in 750 ml cork-finished bottles. Earthy, deep, complex, but light in color and on the palate, as befits the style, and it packs a very healthy wallop of whole fresh hop aroma.

Good yellowish head over slightly veiled orange-golden beer, well-carbonated. Hoppy nose, rather US hops, and a fine caramel touch behind. Nice & fruity, inviting hops, yet delicate. Bitterish, lightly spiced, and toasted flavours; again a bit of caramel. Touch oxydized, it would seem. Some uncertain citrus. Creamy head in nice contrast to the spritzy, near overcarbonated beer. Slight slickness; long mild-bitter, spiced aftertaste. Good tripel, but I harbour a slight preference for the original Kerkom products.

75cl, new exclusive Dutch brew Anno 2011, from De Hopduvel Gent, complex brew, spicy and slightly bitter, balanced, hazy, small head, good brew, very original label!
