   AROMA 6/10   APPEARANCE 4/5   TASTE 6/10   PALATE 2/5   OVERALL 12/20
manuchampions (1245) - Vancouver, British Columbia, - DEC 30, 2009
UPDATED: DEC 31, 2009 330ml bottle from 16th St.Liquor in West Vancouver. Pours a rich golden hue with a lasting frothy head and very good lace. The aroma has notes of white pepper, clove, lemongrass, bready malts, grassy hops, a touch of yeast, and phenolic. The taste starts with a crisp dose of bitters and citric fruit but is quickly vanished by replaced by light pale malt and yeast character with a heavy amount of supporting alcohol. Biting and sharp but seems overcarbonated, no masking the ABV here. Okay but no where near the quality of the better Belgian Strong Golden Ales out there or for that matter, Satan Red.

W aromacie jabłka, alkohol, przyprawowość. Barwa pomarańczowa, klarowne, piana od początku dziurawa. W smaku czuć alkohol, przyprawy oraz owowcowość. Cóż, użyto bardzo agresywnego szczepu. Nagazowanie zbyt wysokie. Goryczka niska, ale alkohol w tym przypadku robi swoje. Przeciętne piwo.

Rubin77 (2748) - Brussels / Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - DEC 8, 2017
F: big, white, quick collapsing. C: deep gold, hazy. A: malty, fruity esters, bit banana, marzipan, hint of orange peels, spicy, bit yeasty. T: malty, yeasty, banana, peach, dusty, bit apple, spicy, coriander, quite enjoyable BSA yet nothing very special, medium to full body, medium carbonation, 33cl bottle from Prik & Tik Leuven.

ArtificialCyst (1406) - Szczecin, POLAND - OCT 25, 2017
Bottle from Elysium. Strong aroma of red apples, alcohol and fuzzles, some caramel, the smell of a Russian champagne. Sweet in taste, finishing sweet as well with some alcohol burning, high carbonation. Bad.

yoxik75 (461) - Wroclaw, POLAND - OCT 25, 2017
Piana o drobnych i średnich oczkach, powoli opada.

Bottle. Golden with withe head. Malt, spices and yeast in taste and aroma. Slightly bitter ending and medium body.

From old tasting notes. Cloudy, orange Amber color. Bubbly tan head. Eccentric earthy malt aroma. Tangy lemony malt flavor with yeasty overtones. Tart fruity midtaste. Bopiting sour dry hop finish. Ther is a sour apple flavor that underlies the entire flavor scheme. It’s subtle but it’s there. Great lacing.

Svesse (8972) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - JUN 17, 2017
(Bottle, Delirium Café, Brussels, 21 May 2017) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of peaches, marzipan, candy sugar and grass. Malty, fruity taste with peaches, bread, grass, sugar and a balanced spicy bitterness. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well made golden ale, leaning in the Duvel direction. Nice one.

dimeon (500) - Johannesburg, SOUTH AFRICA - MAY 30, 2017
A: Dark gold with a small white head. N: Not much going on. Some barley malt. T: Not quite sure if this is an old bottle. There is a soapiness in the taste. Very little noticeable hop influence. P: Medium. O: A bit of a miss.

3.2
prawlie (1702) - Berkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 12, 2017
Bottle. Bitter, biting taste, and a very Saaz aroma. This seems quite a basic beer by Belgian standards, and less than subtle. Whilst not a bad beer I wouldn’t seek out this one again as there are so many better alternatives of the style.

3.7
vinivini (3147) - Gomel, BELARUS - APR 24, 2017
Honey yellow with abbundant rocky white head that stays for ages. The aroma is corny malts, spicy yeast and spicy hops. Medium body. Sweet malts form the base of the flavour. Spicy yeast go along. Light bitterness finishes the story.
