Had this beer some time ago (years months), transferring data from a data base I was using to rate beer. As I drink these again I will add a complete review.

Bottle. Golden with withe head. Malt, spices and yeast in taste and aroma. Slightly bitter ending and medium body.

gripweed57 (2593) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - JUL 14, 2017
From old tasting notes. Cloudy, orange Amber color. Bubbly tan head. Eccentric earthy malt aroma. Tangy lemony malt flavor with yeasty overtones. Tart fruity midtaste. Bopiting sour dry hop finish. Ther is a sour apple flavor that underlies the entire flavor scheme. It’s subtle but it’s there. Great lacing.

(Bottle, Delirium Café, Brussels, 21 May 2017) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of peaches, marzipan, candy sugar and grass. Malty, fruity taste with peaches, bread, grass, sugar and a balanced spicy bitterness. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well made golden ale, leaning in the Duvel direction. Nice one.

A: Dark gold with a small white head. N: Not much going on. Some barley malt. T: Not quite sure if this is an old bottle. There is a soapiness in the taste. Very little noticeable hop influence. P: Medium. O: A bit of a miss.

prawlie (1613) - Berkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 12, 2017
Bottle. Bitter, biting taste, and a very Saaz aroma. This seems quite a basic beer by Belgian standards, and less than subtle. Whilst not a bad beer I wouldn’t seek out this one again as there are so many better alternatives of the style.

vinivini (2582) - Gomel, BELARUS - APR 24, 2017
Honey yellow with abbundant rocky white head that stays for ages. The aroma is corny malts, spicy yeast and spicy hops. Medium body. Sweet malts form the base of the flavour. Spicy yeast go along. Light bitterness finishes the story.

UPDATED: AUG 5, 2017 Divím se podprůměrným hodnocením kolegů pivařů. Pro mě je to originální pivo s geniální vůní i barvou. chuť je doopravdy příjemná a rozplývá se na jazyku.

UPDATED: DEC 10, 2016 Barwa jasna. Biała drobna piana. Aromat wyraźny, trochę owocowy. W smaku delikatne, alkohol dobrze ukryty. Trochę za mało wyrazisty smak.

jamaty (2190) - Madrid, SPAIN - DEC 8, 2016
Dorada, buena espuma. Aroma a levadura con notas cítricas. En boca es entre seca y dulce, alcohólica. Fría pasa bien, cuando se calienta es dura. Malteada, especiada. Lejos de las mejores.
