33 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a dense tan/orange-ish head. Solid yeasty spiced aroma, mild fruity note. Quite carbonated, but average for a Belgian beer. Flavour is slight breadish, solid yeast note, sharp spicy and followed by a mild caramel malt smoothness. Lingers smoothly into the finish, but the aroma and the initial flavour hits you straight away. Clear alcohol presence in the finish. The aroma is pretty yeasty with notes of fruit and corriander. The color is an unclar red (no wonder it is called red) and it has a beutiful beige head. The flavor is yeasty with strong notes of corriander and light notes of fruit and cowberries. It runs prickling over Your tongue - is it the alcohol? It ends on a dry slightly prickling note. The mouthfeel is somewhat thin - especially compared to the ABV. It is not that complex a beer - I had expected more - but it still has a nice taste. joergen (29234) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 1, 2009

Bottled. Hazy orange colour, huge longlasting beigishorange creamy head, lacing. Aroma consists of sugar, rye and stinging alcohol. Mouthfeel is soft, due to very low carbonation. Very hoppy and sour flavour. Hayish and harsh alcoholic finish. Sticky palate. Not that interesting beer... cgarvieuk (26029) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 24, 2016

Amber colour, creamy head. Herbal spicy, yeasty nose. Sweet and fruity with some citric acidity. Simple, mellow mouthfeel. Un-stylish.
(Bottle 33 cl) Dark golden with a reddish glow. Flat, greasy looking head sticking to the glass. Appears more full-bodied with less pronounced alcohol than it’s golden sibling. To be preferred of the two. 040798 Beerhunter111 (22550) - P´Castle, GERMANY - APR 14, 2014
