$2.20 Bottle, Wine Warehouse, CHO. Pours... ok, there are chunks in this beer. Like chunks of snot or glue. Pours a chunk dark amber with a small head. Chunks settle to the bottom. Very mild aroma. Light maple and pumpkin. Some spicing. Taste is heavy nutmeg and cinnamon, light maple, pumpkin, and copper. The chunks turned out to be not-so-well blended spices as the beer was spicier the more I drank.

ordybill (1759) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - NOV 25, 2016
Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a very cloudy light brown with a medium sized off-white head. The aroma is oddly of strong banana. The taste matched the smell. An average beer.

ROGUE (2215) - Lewes, Delaware, USA - NOV 9, 2016
12oz bottle and on tap at SLL tasting. Poured a medium brown color, with a off white one finger head. Lots of spice on the nose with a good a amount of sweetness. Not a sweet as I was anticipating, with a taste of butternut squash, cinnamon and nutmeg, obvious maple favors with a hint of vanilla. Smooth body with mild carbonation.

UPDATED: JAN 9, 2017 I haven’t been wild about maple beers, but this one is very good. And it’s nothing like a pumpkin ale. It pours hazel/brown with a head that fades to a tan ring quickly. The aroma is really nice. Warm spice, some brown sugar, some of the maple. The maple comes through on the flavor bigtime in the finish, but it doesn’t get old. The rum spices and rich malt are nice, too. This beer is very good. EDIT - just had one of these guys poured at room temperature and had to re-rate it. I took the aroma rating up a tick, because I’m just in love with how this beer smells slightly warm. The rum and pumpkin notes are forward, pronounced, and inviting. This beer really is special.

NikkTwist (3225) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 13, 2016
UPDATED: SEP 13, 2016 Hazy deep orange amber with a large spread of off-white lace and foam. Sweet dark caramel butternut squash. Moderate maple syrup flavor. Cinnamon. Nutmeg. Clove. Vanilla bourbon. Good body. Nothing offensive.

joeneugs (6371) - Livermore, California, USA - AUG 18, 2016
Bottle. It pours a deep orange color with a soda pop-like fizzy head that disappears almost immediately. The aroma has some watered down maple syrup, hints of squash and spices. Mostly cinnamon. The flavor is a bit richer with strong caramel, toffee, cinnamon and ginger. Light syrup notes. The body is light considering the high ABV, and the alcohol is hot. Spices are pretty well in balance though. Needs more body and malt complexity.

Bebum (993) - Massachusetts, USA - FEB 27, 2016
UPDATED: JAN 14, 2017 Medium amber, clear, tall & lasting orange head. Medium body, moderate flavor, hot mouthfeel with high carbonation, avg length, fruity finish. Sweet and tangy with a touch of bitterness in the finish. Madeira wine, spices, bourbon, candy, intense alcohol flavor, narrow palate. Pleasant winter warmer, not much more. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

AmEricanbrew (6878) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - FEB 15, 2016
Bottle at trailer. Hazy dark amber color with light tan head. Dark fruit, earthy squash, sweet spicy maple aromas. Medium bodied. Nice fall spice, sweet maple, nutty flavors---tangy finish____good.

bubbleflubber (2227) - Swannanoa, North Carolina, USA - DEC 31, 2015
Pours into the glass with a soapy eggshell head that leaves ring lacing. The nose is of molasses, maple syrup, rum raisin, dark stone fruits, caramel and pound cake. Flavors follow suit, with dark stone fruit esters, caramel, breadiness, raisins, plums and prunes, finishing with a hint of ABV, maple syrup/molasses and rum raisin bread. Soft carbonation lends a nice contrast to the light alcohol heat, providing a full body and smooth quaff to the palate. Easily drinkable, and will sneak up on you if not careful, it’s that well-integrated, complex and delicious. A substantial Impy Belgian Strong Ale here, for sure! Delicious!

TheEpeeist (3709) - Media, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 18, 2015
12 oz bottle. Almost clear auburn with a clingy off-white head. Nose is cinnamon, clove and rum raisin; a hint of squash if you dig deep. Medium body with a tang finishing bready. Taste is maple, cinnamon, clove and toffee. Not so much squash but works well as a spice brew; maybe warmed?

Arayaga2 (2198) - portland, Oregon, USA - DEC 5, 2015
Amber and nearly headless Aroma is maple sweet, with some nutmeg. Taste is mild, and hides the alcohol. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
