12 oz bottle into a goblet. 22 Nov. 2016 bottling date. Pours with a thin, weak head that vanishes quickly. Near black body with attractive ruby edges. Aroma: a delightful, swirling mix of blueberry jam, maple syrup, vanilla and pancakes. Flavor: stronger than the aroma suggests with very clear and bright notes of blueberry and maple that are semi-naturalistic. Feel: Very smooth, medium-full body with low carbonation. Overall: should appeal to those who lament that other "maple" stouts have, at most, only a faint bit of maple.

Zwart als de nacht met een bruine kraag. Bosbessen fristi met ook drop en soja smaak. Zoet en plakkend. Heel bijzonder

Pours dark brown with no head smells like blueberry pancakes with maple syrup, taste like toast with blueberry jam and maple syrup with a little bit of malt and a smokey finish. Goes down smooth for a stout without the coffee or soy sauce taste like Guinness.

Draft at fest, any beer with maple in it, is worth a try..nose really combines pork products with some smoke and yes syrup n pancakes, syrup is on the downside more like cheap butter syrup than hi grade maple, despite this it was an interesting sip for sure that would go ok with slopping down a breakfast of bacon n pancakes, a bit cloying however and I cant see wanting more than about 4 oz of this..

12 oz. bottle from seeswo- thanks again, Chris! Pours a deep, dark brown with amber highlights and a finger of tan head that settles into a bubbly film and ring that lasts for a long time. Good grief, they aim to deliver on their promise. Massive maple and blueberry notes, vanilla, chocolate, mild roasted malts, and an oddly herbal note. Medium-bodied, with a smooth, sweet mouthfeel that coats and has a little bite at the finish. Fun for a few ounces, but its too much for a whole glass.

BOTTLE 12 OZ. Clear deep brown, diminishing beige head. Smells like jam filled candies, burnt sugar, almost to the point of being smoky, quite artificial. Very sweet burnt sugar, light burnt bitterness. Its all plain burnt sugar, rather that blueberry maple, I am afraid. A very faint blueberry skin astringency is the only bright spot.
