Very OK. It teases you with flavor but doesnt deliver. However, still a drinkable beer that hits enough marks. Reviewed - A Brew With You, Ep. 33

Poured into a mug, the appearance was a solid milky brown color with a fingers worth of white foamy head. Light stringy lace. The aroma centered around some soft sweet and roasty malts. Nuts - somewhat like cashews, then the caramel to toffee crispness. Light grassy hops with a dry bitterness. The flavor leaned towards the sweetness trying to bring in the roast but that stays in the background for the most part. Light malty aftertaste and finish. The feel was almost medium bodied with a really nice smoothness to it. ABV felt good and the carbonation felt good. Overall, nicely done brown ale well worth my time and money.

Sampled on draft at Tapped this beer poured a dark red-brown color with orange highlights and a large creamy tan head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was toasty malts, caramel, fruity hops and a light herbal and baking spice note. The flavor was bitter , smoky and woody with light fruity hops and a bit of bread. Medium length finish with lingering smoke. Medium body. Meh.

Picked up single 12-oz bottle from Heritage Liquors in Maplewood, Minnesota. Pours a clear brown amber colored brew with a fast dissipating off white head that leaves behind a thin off-white ring. Aroma of roasted dark malt, a hint of chocolate, floral hops and a touch of toffee. Taste is where some of the smoked malt character comes through with toasted chocolate malt and floral hops. Finish has a short mild bitterness followed by some smoked chocolate malt aftertaste.
