I love a good brown and this one is pretty solid. Sweet and malty, some nice toffee and caramel. I little earthy. Weak aroma. Strong offering.

Bonfire Brown shows that Brown Ales can be mellow without being boring. This ale pours dark, nutty brown. The nose is faintly smoky and toffee-like. Chocolate, toast, and caramel flavors finished by tea-like hops. Mild, medium-bodied feel. This one deserves more recognition.

Nitro at Cooper’s Seafood House. Pours dark brown with an inch of thick khaki foam. The lacing is so thick it coats the glass. Lots of caramel on the nose and tongue. Finished clean.

Backlog entry. Solid beer, close to style and in line with what you would expect. No outstanding characteristics. Nitro.

Very OK. It teases you with flavor but doesn’t deliver. However, still a drinkable beer that hits enough marks. Reviewed - A Brew With You, Ep. 33
