A really good roasty, cocoa Stout. Lots of roasted malt in aroma and taste.

Bottle. Pours a deep brown with a very thin head. Aromas of chocolate, cream, and maybe coconut(??!!). Flavor is a little washed out, but pretty tasty for a light stout. Lots of chocolate and cream. Silky mouthfeel. Just a very enjoyable sweetish stout.

Dark body off white head. Some soapy lacing. Roast aroma, grassy notes, dried fruit. Taste is roast cocoa, ash, lactose. A little subdued. Smooth maybe lacking something in the palate.

Bottle, from the Stout Pack. Black pour with almost no head. Aroma is rich chocolate, almost boozy, nice. Taste is chocolate, some sweetness, finishes quite light, a little thin.

12 oz bottle from the sampler case. Started off really well with a very interesting nose of tar and dark maters left better unknown. A bit bitter toward the end of the bottle..

Taste: Deep dark smoked malts, dry tobacco finish. Toasted black malt smokey nose. Black with a reddish hue, mostly opaque, tan head with delicate ring lattice. Medium full body. Bold.

FROTHINGSLOSH (8139) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 5, 2016
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a black color with a small foamy brown head that left decent lacing. The aroma was toasty with cola and a touch of cocoa. The flavor was dryish and somewhat bitter with notes of cola, wood and cocoa. Medium length finish. Moderately full bodied and smooth. Ok.
