Bottle at The Roebuck, Leek (Titanic) A clear amber colour with thin white head. Aroma of caramel, toasty malt, some bread, subtle honeycomb and earthy hops. Taste of caramel, toasty malt, some bread, a little vanilla, subtle metallic tones and earthy hops. Light bodied and moderate carbonation. A sweetish, soft earthy bitterness in the finish. Nice, sweet malty flavours but I find it too bland, not a good ESB.

Pours a dark amber with a thin white head. Aroma is caramel, toffee, fruity hops, and an almost oaky/vanilla aroma. Flavor is mostly malts: caramel and toffee, with that same vanilla undertone. Has low bitterness. Pretty good.

good balance, smooth, mild bitterness. Biscuity, caramel malts. So boring for me and the style. Balance is good but very toned down. A bit of spice on the hops with a light citrus zest note.
