Pretty malty. Has a very strange texture to it. Hard to explain and not a good thing. Overall, not a fan. Mittenator (1612) - Michigan, USA - FEB 16, 2015
Draft at the brewery. Crystal clear copper with a small head. Bready, sweet, toffee aromas with similar flavors. hopscotch (11049) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - JAN 30, 2015
Bottle... Pours clear and amber with orange highlights and a small, fluffy, white head. Great retention. The nose features lightly toasted malts, raw honey and tea biscuits. Medium-bodied with busy carbonation. The flavor is toasty and sweet. Hopped just enough to keep the sugars and sweetness at a comfortable level. There’s some nice toffee and a trace of peppery bitterness in the finish. anders37 (26194) - Malmö, SWEDEN - DEC 4, 2014

12 oz. bottle poured to a goblet, displaying a slightly hazed, coppery amber color, with a frothy head of off white foam that rapidly diminished to a bubbly ring & film, and left spots & strands of lacing on the glass. The nose was malt, with some caramel sweetness, pit fruit as apricot, and hints of candied orange, and vanilla. Usually noticed in the aroma, the flavor began with some toastiness, continued with the esters, and added moderate earthy & rind-like bitterness, with some lingering nature. Light to medium bodied, with lively carbonation, then light tartness, and some dryness to the finish. Decently sessionable. mR_fr0g (11904) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 25, 2014

Bottle. Somewhat murky amber pour with a small soapy head. Earthy, dusty, a little sweet. Some caramel / toffee. A little bitter like old coffee grounds are bitter, but not coffee aroma/flavor per se. Just reminds me of a coffee filter a bit. Bottle split at GBBF, day 2, 13/08/14 - thanks to Kenvold.
Clear golden amber with a moderate off white covering.
Nose is caramel, light spice, straw, faint citrics.
Taste carries a light hop presence, bread dough, biscuit malt, earthy, toffee.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Adequate, not too exciting though.
