355ml bottle. Brown/black pour. Nothing really offensive here, roasted malt, english yeast character. Okay.

Picked up a single 12-oz bottle from Heritage Liquors in Maplewood, Minnesota. Pours a clear dark brown colored brew with an average sized beige head that quickly dissipates and leaves behind an off-white ring and some film top. Aroma of caramel malt, some dark pitted fruited, some floral hops. and a touch of mocha. Taste is medium bodied, software carbonation with flavors of light chocolate malt, Carnation Evaporated Milk, a touch of mellon and plenty of caramel malt. Finish is a bit sweet for your average porter with some orange hard candy aftertaste. Food-wise, this is more of a pop-over pastry with honey butter porter than the mushroom & Swiss cheese burger porter.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
This isnít that great. Itís too sweet and the roast profile is okay at best. It pours headless black and smells pretty mild, maybe some slight roast. Taste has a bit more too it but is still fairly bland beyond a bunch of sweetness which makes it feel heavy and undrinkable. I canít see myself wanting to drink this again.
