COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Draft only. A medium bodied IPA brewed with hops to give it a sweet fruit or Mandarin aroma and flavbor. We then dryhopped in the firkin to give it another layer of complexity to this ale.

Aroma is sweet fruit/tropical fruit and a good hint of caramel/alcohol. The flavor is fruit, tropical fruit, mild grapefruit, malts and a mix of tart/bitter and alcohol in the finish.

Bottle. Clear amber color with eggshell head. Aroma is caramel, toffee, piney, old hops. Taste is caramel, toffee, piney, earthy, bitter finish. Oily mouthfeel. Okay, not so much Mandarina noticeable for me.

On tap @ CBF Düsseldorf. Smooth mild beginning. Sweetish, round and refreshing with a sticky malty aftertaste. Nice with fresh fruity floral parts, the hops are a bit in the back.

Wordt hier niet buitengewoon enthousiast van. Beperkt aroma, vlakke smaak en ondanks het hoge ABV weinig aftertaste.

12floz bottle, BOD: 05.26.2017, $1.50 unit price, tulip glass. Lets start with scent: sweet, caramel, drizzled baked goods with an essence of orange zest. Second looks: amber with clarity and a small clingy head. Third flavors: tree bark, resin, and darken toast. Fourth the feel: full-bodied, fair carbonation, and a moderate bitterness that lingers. Finally overall: decent, not great, not bad either.

7/07/2017 (12 fl oz bottle) Malt, brown sugar and caramel, and alcohol-soaked fruits; bronze-orange color, hazy; minimal off-white crown; orange candy, caramelized fleshy fruit, alcohol venting through the nose and perceived in the flavor, more sweet maltiness and sugars rather than hops as the bitterness is fairly moderate to low, harsh chemical finish; medium to medium-full body, smooth and slick texture; I have a soft spot in my heart since I have been to visit them in there old location as well as their new one, but this beer was a huge let down considering the "ale brewed with fresh mango, orange, lemon and lime" description on the label and none of that is really present in the aroma or flavor! Very disappointing and a waste of money considering my homebrew citrus IPAs taste way better than this beer. Good name and label though...

Pours a light copper, with mid-sized head. Aroma of bread and malt, with some hops. Flavor is very malty, with some bitter hops in the background. I prefer a more hop-forward IPA.

Light and crisp, fruity with citrus zest. A bit of doughy malt. Slightly hoppy and bitter finish but not overly so. Fairly in the middle.
