12 oz bottle. Pours very dark brown with a one finger head. Aroma is roasted malt, vanilla, chocolate, and an artificial strawberry. Taste is a funky sweet artificial strawberry upfront followed by vanilla, and ends with roasted malts. Mouthfeel is medium. Overall I enjoyed it better than the Southern Tier Creme Brûlée, but it is not something I will seek out again. Carlisle (767) - Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 3, 2017
Draft. Pours dark brown with light tan head. Nose of strawberry and vanilla with chocolate notes. Strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate flavors dominate. Sweet finish.

Pours deep brown/black with a thin mocha head. Aroma is spot on to the name...notes of chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry...nothing dominant and not too sweet. Flavor follows suit...surprisingly good...really nailed the theme of the beer while still being a beer before a dessert. Mouthfeel is medium and creamy with a chocolate/strawberry finish that turns roasty. Im surprised and impressed. dnicolaescu (2616) - Chișinău, MOLDOVA - JAN 26, 2017
BOTTLE 12 OZ. Almost black with faint ruby highlights, beige head. The aroma is chocolate cake. The taste is pretty sweet and syrupy, with notes of cheap chocolate candies. Light bitter and roasty finish. Not bad, but somewhat artificial. stantheman (1079) - British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 7, 2017
Bomber from a private liquor store on Denman St in Vancouver. Very dark, sweet fruity nose, minimal tan head, sweet and pleasant fruit note in the mouth, roasted malt background. Low bitterness as expected. 3.6

2015 BJCP Category: 30A Spice/Herb/Vegetable (base style: 16A Sweet Stout)djd07 (15106) - Houston, Texas, USA - DEC 30, 2016
AROMA: Strawberry flavoring with lactose sugar quite noticeable. Extremely faint vanilla. No chocolate/cocoa nibs, etc. No roasted malt. 7/12
APPEARANCE: Deep brown with magenta highlights. Creamy tan froth retains and laces well. 3/3
FLAVOR: Sweet palette from beginning to end. Lactose is immediately prominent along with a general dark malt sensation but no roasted flavor nor bitterness. Chocolate/vanilla emerges strongly at the apex with a fairly rich sweetness, but these flavors diminish quickly. Strawberry is faint and exists as a subtle background note up front and re-emerges in the aftertaste. Works as a SWEET stout, but not a 16A per se. Flavorings could be a little more prominent and balanced. 14/20
MOUTHFEEL: Medium-full bodied with a soft, creamy texture. Fairly low CO2. Very comfortable mouthfeel. Lingering sweetness. No alcohol presence. 5/5
OVERALL IMPRESSION: As a novelty beer this certainly is interesting, but has a ways to go to be a truly excellent beer to either style. 7/10
TOTAL SCORE: 36/50

Medium aroma of malts, caramel, vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, mocha and roasted malts.
Opaque black beer with a slight beige/brown head.
Starts medium/heavy sweet with malts, caramel, vanilla, strawberry, chocolate and mocha; ends slightly bitter and dry with roasted malts.
This beer is intense, complex and balanced. What an amazing idea to bring that traditional ice cream to a sweet stout. The three flavours together really hit the spot for me. There is even a slight roast at the end, creating a nice mocha tone together with the other ingredients.
Bottle from John. Pours black some head and lacing. Nose is ice cream. Flavours of neapolitan ice cream, vanilla, chocolate, strawberry. Taste is medium sweet, light bitter. Full creamy body light carbonation. PorterPounder (8088) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - DEC 25, 2016
Gainesville, Fl - Total Wine & More - 12 oz. bottle. Sable black pour, tight mocha colored head that clings to the edge of the glass. Aroma has some sweet lactic notes, a touch of chocolate. Flavor has some sweet chocolate notes, a hint of licorice, some trailing vanilla in the back end and yes, a hint of strawberry. Mouthfeel has a solid creaminess to it.
