Bottle from Ice Cold Beer Here 2. It pours black with a light tan head. The aroma is has some sweet cocoa, coffee, strawberry and cookie-like malts. The flavor is very sweet with more cocoa, roasted malt, coffee, vanilla and strawberry. It has a full, oily body with some roasted malt and earthy bitterness in the finish. Sweet and dessert-like. Very true to the name, although it is a little more roasted and bitter than it has to be, IMO. Really pretty tasty though. Mainuh_man (291) - NETHERLANDS - NOV 11, 2016
12 Oz bottle. Pours black brown with a ready brown head. Aroma of artificial strawberry and chocolate. Very sweet flavor with strawberry, chocolate and vanilla.. Creamy mouthfeel with mild carbonation. Overall, sweet and artificial.. Not my style. alex_leit (4422) - Minsk, BELARUS - NOV 9, 2016
Bottle. Garnet color. Strong aroma of vanilla and caramel, a little dried fruit, raisins, a little fresh. Taste: too vanilla (artifical?), apple, strawberry, caramel, chocolate, sweet, truffle, creamy. Cantabrian (1143) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - NOV 5, 2016
On tap, from the bar downstairs at the Courtyard Hotel in Holland, MI. Perhaps because of the temperature, excessively cold, the aroma was kind of neutral, which downgraded the rating for this most excellent beer. Creamy, tart, sweet, milky, the strawberryness is evident on the chocolate flavour, amazing, indeed three scoops of the Neapolitan flavours in a pint. Not bad! Strong aroma of chemical strawberry odorant, unfortunately, and it rather soaps the beer up overall alas, but that aside, it’s a fun, light-hearted stout to try some day you feel like drinking something malty but also neapolitan.
Unfortunately there’s a real deep sourness and bitterness that underlies the beer; and that brings down the score a fair bit.
Even so, it’s like drinking the daiquiri of stouts; a fun, different flavor, and pretty tasty.
I don’t know if I’d buy it again, but I wouldn’t turn it down if I was in the mood for a silly dessert beer. Probably awesome for making beer floats with, hmm...

12oz. from Alma. The aroma is a little soy and hay. Pours almost black with fully diminishing light brown head, good lacing. The taste is sweet. The body is medium, the texture creamy, the carbonation lively and the finish long. Very good, not sure it was a fair trade for a Big Eddy. Voodoo (675) - Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 11, 2016
Pours a dark black with a small medium head which lingers.......aroma of chocolate, and oddly that smell of a loaded ice cream cooler.......taste is quite good. The chocolate and berry flavors show quite well and the smooth body relates to ice cream. For once a fun beer to enjoy. Not intense, just enjoyable. HonusWagner (2191) - Florida, USA - OCT 9, 2016
A nice sweet stout with good balanced flavors of chocolate and light berries. It’s not life-altering but it’s quite good. stravale (3078) - Co. Westmeath, IRELAND - OCT 8, 2016

Pitch black, off white head
Aroma - Neapolitan ice cream...it really does. Dark, soft strawberry
Taste of dark sweet malts, chocolate ice cream, slight roast, vanilla, that synthetic strawberry in Neapolitan ice cream, milk sugars, sweet fruity, yum yum, really like the ice cream sold as blocks
Palate - Soft carb, medium body, sweet. Finish as main flavour, smooth finish, dark chocolate.
Overall - Really liked this - it’s the real deal, tastes what it says it is. A good dessert stout.
Appearance- pretty much black, opaque, a small light brown foamy head. Aroma- chocolate, vanilla, fudge, some strawberry, roast malt, milky coffee, leather. Taste- strawberry, cherries, vanilla, cherry brandy, chocolate, coffee, dark malts. Mouthfeel is fluffy and a bit rich. This actually tastes like it’s supposed to... quite nice, a bit sweet and syrupy though.
