A perfect blend of classic dry stout character with brilliant flavors of Neapolitan Ice Cream. Experience the nostalgic flavors of chocolate, vanilla and strawberry all in one glass because sometimes ice cream just isnt enough. 16.4

Pours a black with a tan head. As they advertise, the aroma consists of chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla. The strawberry really comes out and I get a strong impression of ice cream. Taste has a lot of strawberry and vanilla. Some good roasted malts along with chocolate are found underneath. This is more on the sweeter side. Shorter aftertaste of strawberry ice cream. The texture is creamy, while being medium in body. This is different and tasty. It is made very well. I cant say Ive really had anything like this before.

Bomber from a private liquor store on Denman St in Vancouver. Very dark, sweet fruity nose, minimal tan head, sweet and pleasant fruit note in the mouth, roasted malt background. Low bitterness as expected. 3.6

2015 BJCP Category: 30A Spice/Herb/Vegetable (base style: 16A Sweet Stout)

AROMA: Strawberry flavoring with lactose sugar quite noticeable. Extremely faint vanilla. No chocolate/cocoa nibs, etc. No roasted malt. 7/12

APPEARANCE: Deep brown with magenta highlights. Creamy tan froth retains and laces well. 3/3

FLAVOR: Sweet palette from beginning to end. Lactose is immediately prominent along with a general dark malt sensation but no roasted flavor nor bitterness. Chocolate/vanilla emerges strongly at the apex with a fairly rich sweetness, but these flavors diminish quickly. Strawberry is faint and exists as a subtle background note up front and re-emerges in the aftertaste. Works as a SWEET stout, but not a 16A per se. Flavorings could be a little more prominent and balanced. 14/20

MOUTHFEEL: Medium-full bodied with a soft, creamy texture. Fairly low CO2. Very comfortable mouthfeel. Lingering sweetness. No alcohol presence. 5/5

OVERALL IMPRESSION: As a novelty beer this certainly is interesting, but has a ways to go to be a truly excellent beer to either style. 7/10

Medium aroma of malts, caramel, vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, mocha and roasted malts.

Opaque black beer with a slight beige/brown head.

Starts medium/heavy sweet with malts, caramel, vanilla, strawberry, chocolate and mocha; ends slightly bitter and dry with roasted malts.

This beer is intense, complex and balanced. What an amazing idea to bring that traditional ice cream to a sweet stout. The three flavours together really hit the spot for me. There is even a slight roast at the end, creating a nice mocha tone together with the other ingredients.

Gainesville, Fl - Total Wine & More - 12 oz. bottle. Sable black pour, tight mocha colored head that clings to the edge of the glass. Aroma has some sweet lactic notes, a touch of chocolate. Flavor has some sweet chocolate notes, a hint of licorice, some trailing vanilla in the back end and yes, a hint of strawberry. Mouthfeel has a solid creaminess to it.

Im of two minds with this beer. On the nose its nothing special, and its first taste is obtrusive. Its fruity aftertaste is what keeps this beer alive for me.

Oh hell yea, I love a good dessert stout, and this is one. Strong thick strawberry shake with vanilla. Delightful. Drink cold, gets less sweet shake like as it warms.....but the strawberry still cuts through.

Pours fairly dark brown with a tan head. The aroma has lots of sweetness and raspberries. Matt be able to pull out other things off I tried, but that is overwhelming. It has a medium rich smooth body with soft carbonation. The yard has the raspberries, but there is more there. It also has chocolate, vanilla, earthy hops, dark caramel and a nice richness that should be with a milk stout. Pretty solid

Pour is a dark brown, almost black with a large tan head. Aroma is a nice mix of strawberry and vanilla. Flavor is a thick and sweet berry and vanilla. Im sure there are tons of adjuncts in this beer to get it to taste this way but it does give off plenty of strawberry, vanilla and chccolate to make it interesting.
