3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tasted on 7/1/13 from a capped 12oz bottle sent to me in the Easter Bunny BIF. Pours completely opaque dark brown, nearly black, with an average tan head that leaves average lace, along with tons of clinging to the glass. The nose is sweet with strawberry syrup, plenty of milk chocolate, and a nice vanilla aroma. The flavor is the same as the nose, but all of the flavors are on the dry side, with a nice dose of bitter dark chocolate. The body is full and creamy with average, but very smooth carbonation, and a long dry strawberry and bitter dark chocolate finish. This is very pleasant.
bottled - super dark color. Aroma and flavor of vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. Somewhat artificial though. Capa (3617) - DC, Washington DC, USA - JAN 15, 2018
Dark with a with a tan head. Aroma is full of chocolate and berry with light vanilla. Medium to full body. Chocolate, lightly roasted malts, berry, and a good chunk of vanilla thrown in, in the flavor. Very sweet throughout. Finish is chocolate covered berries. I was expecting to dislike. Instead, I like. DATE: December 30, 2017... OCCASION: Celebrating a Penn State Fiesta bowl win with a dessert beer and Episode VII... GLASSWARE: Samuel Smith tulip pint... pours a dark velvet-black body with a healthy brown half-finger head rife with bubbles... strikes an impossible aroma of strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla, with the lactic attraction of a sweet stout... lightly toasted malts incline a welcoming milky promise... the effervescent quality suggests an ice ream float: smooth, silky---like liquid marshmallow... the sugars in this are appreciable but not insulting... caramel, brown sugar, milk chocolate, light vanilla, light earthiness and the swish of strawberry... quite a smorgasbord for the palate and a dessert in its own right.... this twelve-pack sampler is definitely worth taking a flier on... jsmerig (1719) - Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 24, 2017

Didn’t realize this was going for ice cream prior to ordering but it works and is not annoying. Dark pour. Nose is chocolate and some fruit. Tastes of milk chocolate, lactose, some fruity tones. Durham more present at it warms. Had at Gnarly Barley taking break from local brew at this joint. LetsGoState (913) - Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 17, 2017
Aroma is vanilla and chocolate. Taste is a sweet blend with just a touch of bitterness. Overall pretty good, but possibly too sweet for me. Iznogud (4691) - CROATIA - NOV 15, 2017

Bottle. Bottled June 2017; BB undated; Drank Nov 2017 - Opaque very dark brown / black in colour. Tan head. Neapolitan ice cream aroma. Very malty; roasty malts, chocolate, lots of vanilla, caramel. Fruity; tangy strawberries. Hoppy; light hop bitterness. Sweet chocolate and vanilla roast malty with a distinct strawberry taste. For a beer, this tastes more like Neapolitan ice cream than I thought possible. Fun beer. Enjoyable. (2017-11) humpah (379) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - NOV 10, 2017
