COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Reverent Monk Belgium Tripel barrel aged in 2nd use whiskey barrels. The 2nd use barrels impart out flavor without as much bourbon as the 1st use allowing the Belgian yeast notes to come through. 20.5°

On tap at Saugatuck Brewery. Chill hazed amber/copper with a thin off-white head. Sweet aroma of fruit tossed in an oak barrel – oak, vanilla, ripe fruit and yeast. Taste is just too sweet for my taste with vanilla, bourbon, sugar and toffee.

Draft. Orange and lightly musty oak aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Sweet lemon/apple flavor up front with astringent, bitter alcoholic finish. Not bad.
