2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Mostly clear and golden, a short white head disappears within a minute. Very faint aroma of pale malt and little else. Flavor is surprisingly solid, a little one-dimensional, but, well... this is a blonde. Satisfying Ovaltine maltiness with a hint of nuts, taffy and lemon. An easy-drinker. If it was on-hand I would session it, but I doubt I would purposely seek it out. ~~~~~~~~~ 6pk./12oz. from one of my wife’s co-workers.
Light straw like malt aroma. Lightly malty sweet and slightly fruity flavor.

Bottle. Cloudy golden coloured beer with a bubbly body. The aroma is fruity and yeasty, and the flavour is lightly bitter with a good touch of toffeeness. Overall a nice strongly flavoured blond ale.

12 oz bottle pours golden with a white head. Aroma of grains, caramel and grass. Taste it malts and grains. DruncanVeasey (8283) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - FEB 28, 2017
Bottle from local office. Eyes nearly popped out of my sockets when I spied Saugatuck on the shelves. Diaphanous blonde slicked with white. Slightly lactic sour milk nose over sappy greenery. Decent sappy hop on the palate with a lick of pine sap and again that odd elderly milk suggestion. Low condition. Thistles and honey. Overlaps with buttery English GA low on hop. Drinkable.

Pour on tap at Old Chicago, clear golden pour with white head, aroma brought notes of bread, biscuit, some slight grass, spice, hints of husk. Taste was a mix of slight grass, bread, dough into a bit of spice, husk, finishing slightly sweet. Eh. Towey1989 (3257) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 29, 2016
Bottle at The Roebuck, Leek (Titanic) Pours a slightly hazy golden colour with a frothy white head. Aroma of cereal, light grain, some vegetable, slight lemon and subtle grassy hops.
Taste of cereal, grain, slight vegetable, a little lemon, a hint of cardboard and subtle grassy hops. Light bodied and moderate carbonation. A lingering, malty, vegetable finish. An extremely bland golden ale. Vegetable and weird grassiness throughout. Not horrible but not recommended. vyvvy (6714) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - JUL 4, 2016
It pours blond with barely a head to mention. The aroma has light toast, bread and is a touch medicinal. It has a medium body with mild carbonation. The yard is like the aroma, but more astringent. There are minerals and some mushiness to the malt. Not really for me. Bif (2342) - St. Charles, Missouri, USA - MAY 29, 2016
Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a small head. Aroma of citrus and grain. Taste of citrus and malt sweetness. Light bitterness and a clean finish. Light body, with a smooth feel. Decent beer that goes good with a BBQ. Hopper8 (241) - Holland, Michigan, USA - MAY 3, 2016
UPDATED: MAY 7, 2016 This beer just isn’t that impressive to me. It’s very easy to drink, like very easy. It tastes like is PBR was a craft, and for that it is not bad. Definitely get the caramel aroma and taste. Overall, just kinda good.
