on tap @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Aroma of malt and brown sugar. Mahogany brown with beige head that quickly is at the rim, thin strips of lace. Taste is slightly smoked malt and earthy burlap that carries through a long slightly bitter finish. A sense here of a recipe from long ago, perhaps what was enjoyed in the middle ages. Draft. Seemed more scotchy and less smoky than the old bonfire scotch. Decent.
