Amber pour with fluffy head. Nice citrus hoppiness in the nose along with the expected sweet moderately roasted barley malt. Carbonation could use a tweek upwards. Some bread-dough and citrus hop bite in the finish. Decent brew. Tmoney99 (14773) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 7, 2008
Draft sample at new brewpub under the name Ramblin’ Amber. Poured a clear dark amber color with an average creamy white head that was mostly lasting and had excellent lacing. Moderate balanced citrus & malt aroma. Medium body with flat carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium bitter finish of average duration. This beer met my expectations. Draught at the Beach Bar? or Beach Comber? in Saugatuck, MI. Pours a light brownish red color with a small off white head. Nose is lightly nutty but more sugary with some light caramel. Palate was thin and watery. Flavor was light caramel with some dirty malt flavors and some more water.
