COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An Intensely aromatic IPA crafted with multiple hop varieties. Singapore IPA utilizes a full malt body which complements the hop bitterness leading to crisp and refreshing citrus flavor with a slight hint of pine. Named after the legendary Lake Michigan ghost town of Singapore, formerly located near Saugatuck, this once thriving lumber town was gradually buried by dune erosion in the late 1880’s. 16.2°

UPDATED: APR 15, 2016 On tap. Pours a clear orange yellow with white head and tons of sticky lacing. Aroma of pine. Taste is moderately bitter, and the slight malty sweetness doesn’t quite balance it. I had this before and loved it, but this time, it’s just pretty forgettable.

hauxe (752) - Butzbach, Hesse, GERMANY - JUL 2, 2017
Gushed orange from the bottle and leaves a frothy, white head. Aroma is citrus, caramel, light rubbery notes. Goes down dry, but sweeter than average for the style, with noticeable caramel and honey. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Overall okay, but felt a touch stale. Could not find an expiration date anywhere on the bottle.

Pint on tap at Beer Revolution in Edmonton pours a slightly hazy golden orange color with a finger of white head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is grapefruit and pine with hints of caramel. Taste is a citrus and pine hop bitterness with a light fruity and malty sweetness. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, a hop forward IPA that is quite tasty. Recommended.

Hoppy nose; slightly unclear deep golden, mid-sized frothy off-white head, half-way lasting, fair lacing; aroma malts, grain, orange, pine, apricot; taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, fruity, pine; dry bittersweet aftertaste, fruity notes, chalky bitterness in the finish; medium body, oily texture, average carbonation; okay IPA, well-made.

An average IPA. Aroma was alright. Light pine notes with notes of orange and grapefruit. Pour was a hazy medium light gold with a thin off white film for a head. Taste was about the same as the aroma. Grapefruit, pine and some window cleaner in there. Decent carbonation. This style is so convoluted it’s hard to brew a standout any more so nothing against the brewer.

Bottle, from dresden. Hazy orange-gold, white head that leaves scant lace. Lightly sweet caramel and orange citrus, creamy mouthfeel, moderately bitter finish. Nice.

Clear, golden orange colored, medium to small off white head, not too lasting. Aroma is of some malt and caramel, citrus, orange, fruity, some floral hops, mediumish aroma. Taste is medium+ sweet malt, caramel, orange, citrus, floral hops, medium aroma and bitterness, dry finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, oily. A bit on the sweeter and caramelier side than I’d like but not bad. (bottle, Craft Beer Rising, London)
