COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A light bodied wheat ale with a large amount of tropical and citrus hops. We dry hopped with copious amounts of Amarillo hops to give this beer a huge tropical aroma and flavor, leaning toward the hoppier side but still a light body.

Shared bottle. Poured hazy straw with white head. Got grainy pale malt in the nose, hops, tropical fruit. Some fruity, white peppery, floral, spicy hops in the flavor, smooth finish.

Clear gold pour with an off white head and fair retention. Good lacing. Light hop nose and taste. Tastes more like an APA than a wheat ale. Slight fruit flavor drowned by hops. Not what I want in a wheat ale.

4/01/2016 (bottle): Saugatuk Starburst Wheat pours is dusty golden in color with a small white crown; the aroma is like plain, uncooked Cream of Wheat with vanilla powder when the packet is first opened; flavor is very wheaty with some light fruity notes, white grapefruit citrus pith, faint bubblegum, a splash of lemon juice, moderate bitterness and a touch of tartness, very dry and dusty in the finish; medium-light body, ample carbonation; I generally like Saugatuk beers and they have a special spot in my heart for some reason, but I really didnt care for this one at all due to the overly dry wheat characteristic and powdery flavors.

Pale yellow pour with a thick white head. Has some tropical aromas. Also has a tropical taste with some spice. Dry hoppy finish makes for a nice twist. Really good wheat beer

Cloudy yellow body, white head, nice lacing. Aroma of vanilla, bubblegum, citrus, tropical fruit, a bit dank. Taste is quite dry, wheaty, but I really like the balance and dryness on this. Quite a nice wheat ale.

Average wheat ale. This would be a perfect crossover beer for B/M/C drinkers. No strong or full smells or flavors. Aroma had a little Frankenberry cereal but not much else. Pour was a hazy light orange with a thin white ring for a head. Taste was very light and thin. Light graininess with just hints of yeast and not much else. Almost flavorless. Beera like this have a big audience. Im just not part of it. Medium carbonation

Deep golden color out of the bottle with an ivory fluffy head. Light hoppy nose with some citrus notes. There are some tropical fruit and sweet orange hop tastes in here, with some puffed wheat and raw grain flavors. This may have been hoppier fresher, but I lost in the fridge. Not bad even now.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a orange-amber color with a medium sized foamy off-white head that left excellent lacing. The aroma was bitter, dryish and perfumey. The flavor was bitter and dryish with perfume, citrus and a bit of bread. Long dry perfumey finish. Medium body. Meh

Winter Haven, Fl - ABC Fine Wine & Spirits - 12 oz bottle. Hazy medium orange pour, white head that sticks around a while. Hint of coriander in the aroma, a buttery essence. Flavor has some light bubble gum notes, a hint of light spiciness, fading light tropical fruitiness. Nice spritz to the mouthfeel.

Bottle from Treasure Island Foods. Hazy yellow with a white head. Aromas of wheat and citrus. Pleasant, light taste with hints of hay and lemon. Grassy finish. Very easy to drink. A nice wheat beer, but very different from the tyical European style.
