Very nice effort here...big caramel/toffee malt bill lends a creamy sweet texture. The citrus and pine hops, and a fair amount of them, add a nice bitter bite in the finish. Nice job. shigadeyo (3749) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 29, 2007
Anniversary Trip 2007
5/18/2007: Hazy yellow witha a large, dense, creamy, long lasty, ivory-colored head. This beer is dry-hopped and ample fresh citrus and grapefruit hops are apparent in the aroma and flavor. There is just enough malt (toffeeish flavored) to hold this beer up and provide some balance. Above average level of bitterness. Dry finish with some grassy/vegetation like hops. A little thing on the palate, but not too bad. Average carbonation. Clean.
