Smooth, toasty. Slightly astringent finish. Certainly a stepup from the monstrosity the original is. robinvboyer (4719) - Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 26, 2009
grassy, wet hay aroma. Sme hops, but they are a little mute. Flavor is very grainy, and grassy. Meh, i wasnt too thrilled with this, its a gimmick, its the same as the regular boris. Eructoblaster (4304) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 25, 2009
Can - 500ml. Pale blond body with heavy carbonation and a huge white foamy head. Fair malty/hoppy aroma with grassy and flowery hints. Taste is well balanced but it lacks complexity. It ends with a short bitter/herbal finish. This decent lager is a lot better than any other Boris beer I have tasted before. Radek Kliber (7470) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - SEP 22, 2009

Appearance: golden , clear brew with large white top. Nice lace shown.
Nose: mineral feel with slight bit of fresh hops , soft and fairly dry.7-
Flavor/Palate : mid light bodied. Soft golden malts with hint of raw wort , grainy sweets with sharpness of leafy , grassy hop. Mineral light watery finish.
soury, grain smell, its golden a little hazy
extremely cerealy taste, like shreddies from a factory, even the aftertaste. feels average macro, maybe a little better, pretty neat for an unusual taste, organic i guess, and is pretty affordable. i would throw this in every now and then.

500ml can poured into a pint glass. Poured a clear pale yellow with a 1" head that did not last long. Good lacing. Mild aroma of sweet corn and grains. Tastes sweet with a bitter aftertaste. Good balance but a bit mild. Crisp mouthfeel but pretty average for a lager. It’s easy to drink because it doesn’t taste bad nor is it offensive. It’s just a little mild in color & aroma with decent flavor. Overall it’s a pretty decent Lager. probstblueribbon (3791) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 17, 2009
500 ml can from LCBO, served cool in a tulip glass. JesseM (1158) - Margaritaville, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 17, 2009
App.: Clear light golden with a fair white froth.
Aroma: Light grain/cereal, a little wet hay, light, vague fruitiness, a little peppery, grassy hops.
Palate: Medium body, soft carbonation.
Flav.: Slightly sweet cereal/grain, a wee bit fruitier than the nose, a touch of alcohol, still a bit of light grassy/peppery hops; dry with a touch of bitterness.
Much better than expected. Organic, French and decent...who knew??
500mL can from the LCBO. Pours a super pale yellow with a large frothy white head. The aroma is right off the bat semi-sour pale malts with a touch of tiny hops, and minor macro-ness but it’s actually not awful. Flavour somehow gets better as it warms. Starts out cold like a crappy macro lager (more in the North American macro style), but as it warmed I picked up decent notes of Pils malts and not much in the way of off flavours or anything that would suggest garbage ingredients. Minor hop presence in the aftertaste. This is far better than what I was expecting. MrManning (2009) - Hamilton, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 17, 2009
500 ml can from the LCBO- Pours a deep yellow with a thin white cap. Leaves a bit of lace. Nose is quite grainy and grassy, with a bit of lemon and bread. Tastes sweet and grainy, of mild fruit, grassy hops. Pretty well balanced, and better than expected. barncatmatt (2287) - Cambridge, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 16, 2009
UPDATED: MAR 11, 2012 500 ml can from the LCBO. pours a slightly hazed greenish yellow with a small white head that lingers and laces. the haze kills the appearance. pretty nice aroma. floral hops, grainy pale malts, soft and delicate. the flavour is equally solid. nice malt body with adequate hopping in flavour and bitterness. way better then i was expecting. ill buy this one again.
