Can - 500ml. Pale blond body with heavy carbonation and a huge white foamy head. Fair malty/hoppy aroma with grassy and flowery hints. Taste is well balanced but it lacks complexity. It ends with a short bitter/herbal finish. This decent lager is a lot better than any other Boris beer I have tasted before. rederic (3340) - montréal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 26, 2009
500ml can, bright yellow color, with a thick white head, fresh cut hay, with a light floral hop nose, with some pale malt, faint buttery, vanilla accents in the aroma follows through on a light-bodied palate with a mild wet grainy pale malt character with some light flowery hop citrusy, leafy, grassy notes, leading towards a watery, lingering citrusy hop bitternes finish. 500 mL Can. Pale straw body with a frothy-bubbly white head that settles to a film and ring leaving good lace. Aroma of hay, grass, and clover; notes of pear, citrus, but there is a harsh earthy-musty undertone that I find stings the nose. The flavor is more likable than the aroma with the sweet malts dominating. There is also an intense citrus-like expression without the acidity; suggesting this is a beer that would go well with tacos or other Mexican cuisine. Light bodied feel in the mouth. Lime-peel aftertaste and finish. I’ll definitely think about this one next time I sample Mexican cooking. AcctError97534 (815) - Ontario, CANADA - JUN 13, 2010
500ml can. Pours a clear orangish yellow with a white head that quickly diminished. Aroma is malty, with some tropical fruit (pineapple), slight straw, and honey. Mostly flavours of sweet grain, with faint orange pith, and minimal hops in the finish. Lubiere (14110) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 22, 2010
A golden lager with a thin creamy lacing white head. Aroma of sweet fruity esters over lemony malts. In mouth, a light biscuitty malt with rather German hopping, light sweetness, not bad conisdering this is sold as a politically correct bio eurolager. 500 ml can from LCBO.

Wonderful pour filled with solid head and a foggy yellow-orange body. What would go for average in the appearance department in France suddenly becomes spectacular in North America - fascinating. Aroma is plenty of hops and some coriander trying to hide a malty brew. Flavour is hops and more hops with some grain hints on the back end. Dry finish. Not a very good French beer but very refreshing after so many bland North American beers. Try harder, brewers! Cartoonkhaki (1300) - Brantford, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 14, 2010
Slight hazy golden yellow with a white puffy head. Grassy grain aroma, slight dry must smell as well. Grainy grass flavour with a weak body. Viper666 (3289) - Richelieu, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 20, 2011
Canette 500ml. Ontbeertaster (2362) - Ontario, CANADA - MAR 2, 2011
Decent offering, this beer tastes quite grainy, no hops to speak of, this beer is ful of flavour for a pale lager and it harsh around the edges yespr (46530) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - OCT 31, 2011
