Bottled, 330ml from Carrefour in Coquelles, France. Pinkish brown with white head. Sweet and sticky with a vague sense of berries but nothing to put your finger on. Some carbonation though certainly not crisp in my book. 330ml is on the edge of toleration I would say, so not a drainpour but I wouldn’t want any more. worldbeertaste (1806) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - AUG 17, 2012
Pale clear pink colour like a glass of Rose wine with a small white head. Smells of blackcurrant and light malt. Thin light body with soft carbonation sort of like a champaign. Tastes of a lager with cordial mixed in. Very watery overall. Not much taste. Basically sweet from the cordial with a fruity and a light acid bitter finish. More of a wine than a beer if you ask me. Yet, I could drink it. BlackHaddock (7574) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - APR 26, 2012
Green 330ml bottle, poured into a ’Hoegaarden Grand Cru’ stemmed tulip glass. Best before end of Mar 2010, drank mid Dec 2009.
Looked like a big glass of Rose wine, but with a small white head sat on top.
’Lager brewed with fruit and blackcurrent extracts’ claims the label. Had trouble smelling anything to be honest, some blackcurrent maybe, but mostly because the label put that idea in my head.
Delicate flavours, but not enough depth or strenght to make the beer interesting, not even enough difference to differentiate betwen other lager styles and tastes. Close your eyes and it is a boring lager/pilsner without anything to say apart from a slightly blackcurrent, blackberry hint in the aftertaste.
My second beer in this style (the other being this beers sister) and I am not impressed. The two I’ve had are on the weaker and cheaper side of the style, so maybe I’m being unfair?

Small bottle shared by GrOve. Snowy white top. Pale pink colored body. Almost aromaless. A light perfumed flower scent, only. Low on flavor, too. Dry light fruity, no malts. Sparkling carbonation. Superlight body. A certain acidity in the end. Not beery at all, more like wine-cooler. larsga (7625) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 21, 2011
Small white head. Paleish rosy yellow body with carbonation. Faint vinegary floral aroma. Dry mealy floral strawberry taste. Light body. Mild mouthfeel. Dry mealy aftertaste of nothing, really. Meaningless. (0.33l bottle shared by gr0ve.)

Perfume and rose aroma. Thin, perfumed beverage, flowers and a slight sweetness. Try a bottle of rose wine or a proper beer instead. Gr0ve (2176) - Oslo, NORWAY - FEB 24, 2011
330 ml bottle. Pinkish pale translucent colour. Medium-sized whiteish pink head. Clean aroma with hints of metallic hops and rose petals. Crisp carbonation level. Watery flavours. Thin body. Not much to be found here. Hints of sweetness towards the end. Acidic and hints of lemon. Dull. madmitch76 (25344) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 30, 2011

Pinkish clear beer! Crisp palate, a little dry. It manages to be malty and crisp but the flavour is watery with just a trace of elderflower coming through. Very dissapointing.
Bottle. Rose coloured beer with a light head. The aroma is lightly dry with a hint of fruitiness, and the flavour is dry with a fruity quality. Overall a reasonable dry and fruity beer, not as bad as other ratings suggest. joe19612 (3020) - camberley, Surrey, ENGLAND - JUL 4, 2010
Bottle. Pours a real pink colour with a thin white head. Has a sweet aroma with plenty of summer fruit. The taste is sweet with a hint of peach with a dry sweet finish.
