Cask at Bryden’s for ’Best of the West’, June 21. Pours a hazy deep copper with a spare long-lasting frothy off-white head. Nice lacing. Aroma: I didn’t expect this, it smells great, it’s so fruity and has a good amount of hops. Flavour, again, is fruity and hoppy with a nice bitter finish. Medium bodied. I really enjoyed this. herrbrown1974 (427) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 3, 2012
Hazy amber pour, quick white head. Earthy aroma with overripe banana, dried leaves, rotting crabapples and pine. Medium body. Sweet up front with a lingering biterness. Not quite seasonal but nice balance and unique brew. garthicus (2934) - Dublin, IRELAND - JUL 1, 2012
Appearance: cloudy red, snow white head, aroma: grass, malt, sweet, pine, fruit juice, spice and a good amount of wood. Flavour: Smokey, coriander, malt, grass, pine, long malty finish. Lovely. solidfunk (9178) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - JUN 29, 2012
Smells hoppy and citrusy. Tastes like a Belgian IPA, somewhere between a good double IPA and a belgian. It’s got some fruit, good lacing. It leans more on the IPA side than the Belgian though. Pours an amber red. On tap at barVolo. Lubiere (14110) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 28, 2012
A beautiful copper amber DIPA with a thick lacing mocha head. In aroma, a funky floral hops, with light natural gas, piney and smooth, catnip and meat notes. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with catty herbal hops, grapefruits, oil mouth feel, very nice. On tap at Sessions 99, June 23, 2012.

[4527-20120620] Tap. Subtle mango lychee aroma. Clear, brown amber body with a long-lasting creamy off-white head. Heavily toasted fruity pineapple malt flavour. Medium-full body. Interesting but a little rough. (7/3/7/3/14) 3.4

Amber orange topped by a nice yellow-white head. Nice fruity nose, with hints of passion fruit, goyave. Medium body, a strange toasted note hits at first and then the southern hemisphere hops emerge with passion fruit dominating again. Creamy texture and medium, soft carbonation. Lingering oaky-fruity-toasty finish. Unusual and good! Sammy (12491) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 25, 2012
I had this both on tap at Bar Volo and in a bottle from a brewer friend (with conditioning yeast). Hoppy aroma. The bottle was much better, very sweet with a decent bitterness. Worth trying. Medium mouthfeel, but a smoothness to it decent drinkability. Big lace.
