Cask days 2013. Pours black with a thin off-white, ring head. Aroma has notes of sweetness, booze, and berries. Slightly roasted. Taste is bitter with a raspberry finish. Medium body with a low-medium carbonation. Overall interesting. Solid raspberry flavour with a medium hit of sour. Alright. Interesting. Might get again.

[5986-20131020] Cask. Cherry fruit and roasted bread aroma. Black body with a quick foamy tan head. Nut and fruity roasted cherry charred wood flavour. Full body. Good, nice fruity infusion. (8/4/9/4/16) 4.1

Where and how: Cask Days 2013
Aroma mild tartness, nutty with mid berry feel. Good but something as missing here…6+
Appearance :
Top: lighter fizzy tanned cap.
Base: murky amber.
Palate : mid bodied with chewy textures.
Taste: Plenty of coffee in there. Side of chocolate malts. Touch of currant.
Other notes decent.

2013-10-20. Black body with a small frothy head. Aroma is quite fruity, sort of perfumey raspberry, something that I assume is coconut based on the description but wouldn’t necessarily identify it as such. Flavour is an interesting melange of fruit and sweet base malt, lightly perfume quality to it. There is a distracting artificial impression to the berry character but I don’t know if they are fresh or something else. It could just be the way the fruit is interacting with the coconut actually. Smooth average bodied palate, soft carbonation. Decent, enjoyable. Session 3, Cask Days 2013, Toronto
