Can: Poured a golden color ale with a nice large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of dry bitter hops with some sweet wheat malt notes. Taste is a mix of sweet wheat malt with some dry floral hops with light bitter notes that are discernible. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not bad but too sweet for my taste buds. rejtable (2838) - Ontario, CANADA - SEP 14, 2017
Tap at corner bar. Pours clear straw lots of head and lacing. Nose is fruity and floral. Notes of grapefruit, resin, huge soapy finish. Taste med bitter light sweet. Med body lively carbonation. This appears to be a reformulated version brewed down to 7.5pct? JoeMcPhee (9550) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 15, 2016
Pale golden pour with a thin white head. The nose has a bit of juicy citrus and pine with some tropical mango and a bit of grassiness. Also has a nice soft peppery character and a bit of lingering pepper. Moderate bitterness but the beer is much more quaffable than something this size should be. Intensely zesty and fresh. Nice stuff. Gluepot (717) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 21, 2016
Sampled at Brothers Beer Bistro tap takeover. A thin white head on a dense, unfiltered, light caramel coloured body. A punchy fresh nose featuring grapefruit and orange zest. Big juicy hops are front and center, with grapefruit, orange and a splash of lemon leading the way. A backdrop of sweet malt and a touch of pepper in the background. Slick and dense with no sign of the big booze count. CRock (270) - Ontario, CANADA - NOV 19, 2016
They’ve done it again! As usual Sawdust puts out another great beer. This beer can get you in trouble though; it’s very light for 9%’er.

Piney and just a little bit juicy on the nose, this beer was chewy and resiny with a finish not unlike a big pine slap to the face. Very tasty. Hopmaestro (1749) - Örebro, SWEDEN - OCT 28, 2016
Aroma is pine and resin with light citrus and somewhat malty notes. Taste is slight woody and piney. Citrus zest and hop spicey. A fairly high bitterness and this old school DIPA delivers on all levels. Nothing too complain about, maybe a little too heavy on the bitterness but that’s knitpicking. Superclean and fresh. Can from brewery. Smells like pine, passionfruit, and pineapple. Smoothie? Medium body, juicy mouthfeel, lots of resinous hops, lots of bitterness but well balanced to the malts with an underlying sweetness, delicious! Spab (4081) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 22, 2016
473 ml can from LCBO. Pours a murky orange colour with lots of floaties with moderate-sized off-white head. Aroma is pungent pine, tropical fruit, biscuit and a little woodiness. Flavour is dank, resiny pine, grapefruit zest, pineapple, biscuit, toffee and some woody character. Some fairly subtle booziness. Really nice one. Can from the brewery. Hazy golden body with a small and tight white head. Aroma and flavour are just what I want from an IIPA - lots of dank pine, gooseberry, overripe melon, fresh cut herbs and candied grapefruit peel. Medium bodied, pleasant on the palate, with some boozy warmth in the finish but not as much as I feared given the beer’s strength. Pretty darn solid.
