On tap, pours a nice hazy straw with a big white head. Hop bitterness on the nose, grapefruit, resin, pine. Clean & bitter on the palate, not a lot of linger. Great summer ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

16oz on tap. Hazy golden straw with finger of soapy white head. Tropical citrus and a but peppery, maybe a but funky. Crisp and clean with a medium bitter finish. Totally sessionable, shame I’ll not see much of their stuff out this way.

Canned, from LCBO 394, Ottawa. Cloudy golden, coarse head. Caramelly nose with muddled tropical fruit. Mid sweet with light-medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Fruity with light citrus and mango. Mid bitter finish.

can. pours cloudy extra pale yellow with a small creamy white cap offering some retention and lacing. lean crackery cereals, peppered rice concoction, citrus essence - clementines for instance; other citrus, some peel, coconut traces - sorachi ace confirmed; hint of acidity enhancing drinkability - kombucha-like, white pepper. moderate carbonation, light body - kind of watery but eh; crispy and zippy citrusy finish. not really complex but a finely tuned modernly lightly hopped very pale session pale it is.

(Rating #7088)

Can from an LCBO in Toronto Canada. Fill date 12 August 2016. Pours a very hazy dark golden color like pear juice. Ugly color. Good head. Aroma of floral hops, some citrus fruits. Taste follows the aroma. Good body. Refreshing. But the color is ugly, like mud. Edit: probably a bad batch or bad storage of the cans. The hoppiness tasted worse and worse with each sip. I drained it.

Aroma is hops, pine, lemon, grass, slight peach - light and inviting. Body is hazy and very pale gold, with a nice persistent head and gorgeous lacing. Taste is very dry. Nice citric hops and astringent peach/apricot flavours. Long finish is unbalanced - grapefruit pith and a little soap, which really dampens the refreshing character. Still a good beer, but it’s not the summer quencher I was hoping for.

Draft. Straw yellow in colour with medium carbonation. Flavors are of hay, cut grass, and spent yeast. Very grainy and dry on the palate. Some green hop and dried herbs are present, but there’s an odd husky/papery finish that kinda spoils it. Disappointing.

At a tasting, thanks, small stable bubbly head, hazy palish yellow color, citrusy lemony aorma, some lemon grass and a skunky hint, flower herbal flavor, soapy bitterness. lemony aftertaste. Not bad at all.

can. Poured hazy straw coloured with a small with head. Bold floral hop aroma. Medium bodied, active carbonation, bitter astringent finish. Flavour of bitter grapefruit, apricot, sourish with herbal hops.

Can sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks troubles. Cloudy yellow with a soapy white head. Aroma of fruity hops, citric, with a slightly stale note. Flavor is quite dry, with nice moderately bitter fruity hops. Quite light-bodied. Refreshing.
