COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This ale is a rich amber biere de garde with a pronounced malt body and a spicy yeast finish. Dry and easy to drink but warm enough to keep them cockles warm during the cold winter months, this beer can be cellared and enjoyed later in the year or drank now as a nice winter warmer.

On tap at Arrow and Loon. Pours an average size frothy beige head but goes away pretty quick. Has a fairly cloudy amber appearance. Dirty lacing. Aromas of yeast, oranges, earthy hops. Flavours are very fruity, some oranges and even peaches, also quite yeasty. Pretty good mouthfeel.

Huge head on this...well the can pretty much exploded on me. Seriously though amazing beer. I hope this becomes part of their regular line up, or at least a seasonal.

[7234-20150518] Tap. Mild grainy soured fruit aroma. Slightly hazy, dark brown amber body with a medium-lasting creamy off-white head. Boozy fruity malt flavour with a long aftertaste. Medium body. Good. (7/3/7/3/14) 3.4

Malty, herbal hoppy and serious with frothy head and cloudy pale coat. Mineral and very soft pisce. Wow! Lemon backing and alco warmth is not harsh. Masterful palate is king of creamy and lightly sharp at the same time, tastes true to style. Unexpectedly matured.

Can from the brewery. Clear dark copper with a huge tan head that hangs around and leaves tons of lace. Big fruity nose with banana, and plums with candy and lots of yeasty spice. Flavour is sweet fruit with bread and nuts. sweetness is tempered well with a light bitterness and pepper. Medium mouth with soft carbonation and a lingering finish. Enjoyable.
