I think if they’re going to call a beer ol’ woody it should be barrel aged. Tease. Anyway.. Pours s nice amber with spotty lacing. Aromas are sweet malts and dough. A bit if dried fruit with a tangy finish that I often associate with lesser beer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can. Mostly clear, amber-brown pour with a small head. Aroma is malty, sweet with a touch of metallic and grassy bitterness. Taste is a little bitter, roasty and metallic, a little nutty. Decently balanced but some odd flavours... Some good elements, but a bit odd.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Can. Pours a deep copper, massive off white fluffy head, leaving tons of bubbly lace. Nose is crisp, malty, a touch burnt. Tastes a little clearly like. Nothing to get excited about.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
473 ml can from the brewery via Steve (thanks!), served quite cool in a tulip glass.
App.: Clear deep copper with a orange-tan head.
Aroma: Rich sweet bready malt, bread crust, melanoidin, clean.
Palate: Medium body with moderate+ carbonation.
Flav.: Much like the nose with nice bready maltiness, a touch of woodsy hops, clean; dry with gentle bitterness and a pleasant, if somewhat light finish.
Not bad at all.
