Roast coffee, chocolate and love in the aroma. The taste is sweet, with more coffee and chocolate. Delicious stuff.

Bought from the brewery. Poured from can into Guinness glass. Smells malty, sweet and almost a chocolaty. Pours dark brown, almost black. Next to no head that disappears immediately. No lacing. Taste is malty and mildly sweet. Very faint hop note. Decent carbonation. Next to no aftertaste. Overall I enjoyed this one, and may buy again. It was easy drinking, and not offensive. It was missing something though. Cannot compete with Stouts like 8th Sin. MB. The Beer "Bear" on.

473 ml can. Black, with a thin tan head. Roasted malty aroma with coffee and cocoa, fruity notes. The flavour is roasted malty, with coffee, dark chocolate, fruity notes, and an ashy, dry and slightly sour finish. Tasty.

Pours dark black with average creamy tan head that sticks around and leaves lacing. Coffee, dark stone fruit, cocoa powder and grainy malt aromas. Gentle malt sweetness with a surprisingly smooth roasty bitterness. Little to no hop presence. Creamy full mouth feel and body with a long coating finish.

Nothing really spectacular, just a damn good stout. That’s really all you need to know. Basic, within style, well made, quaffable.

473 ml can from lcbo. Quiet pour with modest carbonation and an aroma of roasted barley and mocha. The beer is dark and opaque with a tan head and good lace. It has a smooth malty start with roasted barley notes extending into the middle. The finish is long with coffee and chocolate notes blending in. Good mouthfeel throughout.

Kauge (1949) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - FEB 11, 2017
Can, LCBO. Pours dark brown, head disappears fast. Roasted malts aroma, black rye bread crust, coffeeish moments. Flavour similar, some coffee-like bitterness in the finish. Fine crispish carbonation, roasry-ashy dryish finish. Simple. Good one.

Tessic (1152) - Brantford, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 1, 2017
This stout poured a deep black amber colour with a big, creamy tan coloured head. A little lacing. Scents include coffee, caramel, molasses and burnt toast. First swig was delicious with flavours of lightly burnt toast, coffee and a little dark chocolate. Finish is nice and burnt with a small bitterness in the palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
