Pale golden pour with a thin white head. The nose is softly spicy and quite funky. Lots of soft barrel character and a bit of light fruitiness. A nice bretty character on the back that has a great flinty character. Minty and a little bit chewy. Absolutely delicious stuff. robinvboyer (4683) - Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 5, 2015
473ml can from the brewery. Pours a hazy yellow with a big off white head. Aroma is very vinous, lots of earthy barrel and wood with some solid tropical fruity hops. A lovely tartness has been emparted by the barrel, almost like brett was added. The finish is bitter and sour with alot of vinous white grape woodiness. mcberko (17854) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 21, 2016
750mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden with a medium white head. Aroma is lovely, with very complex yeasts, lots of brett, a little dry oak from the chardonnay, and funk. Flavour is extremely complex, with loads of barnyard funk upfront, followed by oaky chardonnay, and a fairly subdued but definitely present tartness. Complex, wonderfully balanced and dynamic. Fantastic stuff. crazy_cat_lady (601) - - MAY 18, 2015
Can in Brew Box. Pale yellow with big fluffy head. Aromas of sour apple and grape and peaches. Tart apple and pear flavours, hint of hoppiness. Quite nice. Freaky_tiki (1251) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 7, 2016
UPDATED: MAY 8, 2016 2015 vintage. $15 bottle (2000 bottle run). Decants a beautiful hazed topaz with a thick mushy cap. Busy bouquet: imperial saison goodness, white grapes & other fruit. Fantastic tasting beer. Swirls of white wine, apricot, orchard fruit & some really nice funk. The barrel plays a leading role here. Highly drinkable, with a crisp finish, lots of depth & a 10% abv that lurks in the shadows. High level brewing.

Tall can, shared with TylerDurden. What’s "the O.D.B."? Old Dirty Bastard? I don’t know, maybe I’m missing the obvious. Anyway, this was a really great brew! Very hazy golden yellow with a lively white head that left gobs of lace. Interesting profile: quite vinous but with a deep funk, and a lemony tartness, and some peppery green notes as well. Very compelling, complex and delicious. PatIrish (183) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 28, 2012
From a bomber, pours a lovely gold with a frothy soft white head. Beautiful aroma of oak/wood, lemon, vanilla & a hint of blueberry. On the palate, what a taste, creamy, full bodied for a golden ale. Exceptional. garthicus (2929) - Dublin, IRELAND - SEP 27, 2012
On tap at the Rhino Summer Fest. Appearance: Hazy orange, small white head. Aroma: Smells awesome! Sour, lemons, punchy, raspberry, a huge wine notes, smells wonderful. Flavour: Bitter, lemons, wine, raspberries, wine again, lovely bitter finish. Just delicious!!! Metalchopz (3391) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 18, 2013
Enjoyed at the National Capital Craft Beer Week. Pours a cloudy golden colour with a frothy white head and some dirty lacing. Sour and vinegar nose with some light fruits. Smooth, and no alcohol burn. Wet mouthfeel and medium-bodied. Wow ! Very well-blended between a sour ale and a fruity Belgian one. Quite interesting and very easy to drink for such a strong brew. jksipa (945) - Newmarket, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 18, 2015
Can from the brewery. Murky light orange with a generous white head that lingers. Dominant white wine and wood on the nose with a generous helping of green fruit and citrus and a supporting light toffee along with a yeasty spiciness. Light sweet fruit supports the medium tartness of grape and a bit of cherry. Light woodiness is evident in the finish. Medium slick mouth with fine carbonation and lingering tart finish. Princess works much better with this ageing.
