Bomber from Albertsons. Dark brown, murky pour, soft, silky beige head, lots of lacing. Mild, hoppy aroma, some if the roast grains present. Taste comes in much fuller, robust, biting. Not the usual the sourness, just straight up roast grains and hops. Solid CDA. JohnGalt1 (1721) - Boise, Idaho, USA - AUG 30, 2016
Draft at the ketchum brewpub... Pours clear deeeeep walnut, verging on black.. piney hops with more than just a stain of black malt, but not out of character, pretty good for a PNW CDA... Proper. BuckeyeBoy (7527) - Boise, Idaho, USA - OCT 17, 2015
On tap at fresh hop fest. Pours out dark brown almost black topped with a tan head. Nose is roast malts pine tips and some grapefruit. Taste is more of the roast malts a pine and grapefruit pithy bitterness on the end. IndianaRed (4545) - Boise, Idaho, USA - OCT 25, 2014
On tap at Tap the Knit Boise Big up front hop and rye bitterness. Fairly dry and ran. Husky sharp rye bite at the end. gramity (1638) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 7, 2012
A very tasty Black Rye IPA on seasonal tap at the taproom. There a really nice bitterness too it and the 20% rye grain bill provides a nice backbone to offset the bitterness from all the delicious hopes used. A really enjoyed this brew.
