Draft at the ketchum brewpub... Pours clear deeeeep walnut, verging on black.. piney hops with more than just a stain of black malt, but not out of character, pretty good for a PNW CDA... Proper.

On tap at fresh hop fest. Pours out dark brown almost black topped with a tan head. Nose is roast malts pine tips and some grapefruit. Taste is more of the roast malts a pine and grapefruit pithy bitterness on the end.

A very tasty Black Rye IPA on seasonal tap at the taproom. There a really nice bitterness too it and the 20% rye grain bill provides a nice backbone to offset the bitterness from all the delicious hopes used. A really enjoyed this brew.
