Saxer Brewing Company--Three Fingered Jack Amber--1998 12 oz. Bottle. 5.50% ABV. (4.25 / 5.0) Amber Lager. Golden Red rich color. Wonderful rich malty fruity body. Maybe just a touch light. RSRIZZO (1986) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - NOV 3, 2007
Had this beer on 5/24/1998. This is the first time I have ever seen a AMBER LAGER ? Also I don’t no why it won anything more less a gold medal for an Oktoberfest ? I did not like it.

Amber in color with light carbonation. Body is lacking enough gravity to hide the metallic flavor. Needs more of a hop presence for my liking. RichJ7 (1175) - Cullman, Alabama, USA - MAY 11, 2004
Used to be a personal favorite. Nice coppery brew, aroma of malt. Malty in taste with just the right amount of hoppiness for a light amber. Smooth and goes down easy. An enjoyable brew.
